Runs out of ink really fast and takes a long time to print

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to learn that your printer has run out of ink more rapidly than you’d anticipated, and that the device has rendered prints slowly. I can certainly see why that would be a poor start to ownership. I want to help you remedy these problems, so I’ll try to offer some helpful suggestions.

First, I can’t tell from your review how many pages you’ve gotten from each set of cartridges or how that compares with their estimated page yields. Nor can I tell whether you’ve bought replacement cartridges yet. This is relevant because some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program.

The XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 825 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce 300 to 315 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.

For slow printing, I suggest that you follow a guide on our support site that covers improving print speed; it contains sections on Windows as well as Mac OS. Find that guide here:
      - support.hp.com/gb-en/document/ish_2817150-2408088-16

If printing speed does not improve, or if your page yield results differ dramatically from the estimates above, I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and find a solution. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

      Hello there,

I'm truly sorry for all the problems the printer has been causing. We certainly build our printers with the intent of providing a reliable experience for our customers, so I can imagine how frustrating and disappointing a situation like yours can be.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various problems. For scanning and printing, you’ll find on this page a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning issues. Visit that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

Furthermore, if the issues persist, I would recommend to reach out to us for support. We'd be more than happy to work through any troubleshooting or initiate a replacement under your printer's warranty. You can reach us at: hp.com/contactHP

On a related note, I'd like to mention the fact that HP printers do also have the warranty from their purchase date, so if you find you need to use it, I hope you will. To verify the warranty, you can use the following link: support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty

      Hi, Daryl.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer is not working like it should. I can wholly understand the frustration behind this, especially considering you bought the printer for your daughter who’s in college. With that in mind, I’ll offer a resource and some information I hope will help.

I can’t tell from your review what issue the printer faces or why it hasn’t worked, so I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess the situation and guide you through any applicable troubleshooting. (Please note that because of restrictions on personal movement and workplace attendance associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, wait times for agents are longer than normal. Thanks in advance for your understanding.) To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:

      - Model number
      - Serial number
      - Your location
      - Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)

Great AIO printer for home and small business

HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 is a simple and easy to use smart office printer that can do print, scan, and copy. This printer is compatible with cloud based printing, which means you can print from anywhere. An added feature for this printer is enterprise level security like secure boot, self-healing WiFi, locking the control panel, and WPA wireless security. It comes with 4 cartridges, Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta and can print up to 20 pages per minute. As with most printers these days, this one does not come with the cable. You would need to purchase or use your existing USB cable if you want to have a direct connection. You wouldn't need it if you are going to set this up on your network. It also supports mobile printing via Apple AirPrint as well as HP Smart print. This model supports HP Instant Ink, an optional subscription service. It monitors the ink and orders it automatically when needed. If you print a lot, this might be pretty good savings on overall ink cost. If you are looking for a home or small business printer, this is a great entry-level printer with built-in smart features.
