Decent printer/scanner. I bit slow on the printing part but I never print multiple pages so the extra time no big deal. I do like the multiple page feed for scanning.

So far so GOOD! I'm very happy with the purchase of this printer. I've had it only for a month and the results are great. I recommend this product, Moreover make sure is installed by a professional. I used a Geek Squad agent.

Easy set up. Print is good. The scanning is excellent. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the ink cartridges are small. Otherwise nice little printer

It does what it was advertised to do. Quite, easy to setup and operate. I especially like the individual ink containers. No complaints thus far. I need to check duplex copying.

I really wanted to love this printer, but there was an issue with the setup, where it just would not complete the setup process or connect to my computer, so I was never able to use it. It looked nice on my shelf for a couple of days though, and Best Buy was great at taking it back and refunding me for the purchase.

    Just don't bother.

This is my 3rd HP all-in-one device. I own a 6960, owned a 6978, and now this one. ALL three devices stopped working correctly within 6 months of owning them, and in the case of this device: within TWO WEEKS. I received this printer as a free replacement from HP for my 6978 which had issues. I've owned it for two weeks and today tried to get the document feeder to work because hand feeding page by page feels like so 25 years ago. Spoiler alert: it wouldn't work. Would give an unspecified error. No amount of troubleshooting could fix it, and at this point I want anyone to know if you're considering an HP device, just don't bother. And don't get me started about HP's stranglehold on overpriced ink, the amount of data monitoring they do, the fact that I needed to download yet ANOTHER piece of junk HP software to even troubleshoot the device. Buy someone else's printer.

    Great temporary printer

Works great for the first few months. After that it stops centering documents and labels. The paper tray is very hard to adjust if it adjusts at all. It won't print anything less than 4x6, so if you have to print individual index cards, this is not the printer to use.

    HORRID CONNECTION

    Posted .

is the ABSOLUTE worst HP printer I have ever purchased! After purchasing a Cannon printer at the advice of the Best Buy rep, I was elated when it died so I could go back to HP. This has been a VERY disappointing return! The only reason I am not giving the printer a 0 is because it is actually a pretty good printer when I am not trying to figure out the confusing instructions I have to scour the internet for or when I am not rebooting daily to get it to function. I have NEVER had this issue with any of my other HP printers. And while many people mentioned the horrid connectivity I was hopeful I would differ. So in the end, I have no one to blame but myself for purchasing this nightmare!

      Hi, Nikia.

Thanks for the review and for the description of your experience. While I’m glad you like certain aspects of your printer, I’m sorry that it has performed so unreliably, and that you’ve not had easy access to diagnostic and instructional materials. I want to help you remedy these issues, so I’ll suggest some resources that I hope will make that happen.

First, I recommend you visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity, which sounds like it’s a major part of what has caused you trouble. Otherwise, on the same page, you’ll find a general-purpose tool called the HP Print and Scan Doctor. If you use Windows, the tool will help identify and guide you through solutions to a wide range of common printing and scanning difficulties. You can find that page here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/topic/diagnostics

For more help with difficulties, you can access troubleshooting guides, how-to documents, user manuals and software updates specific to your printer on our support site here:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/product/model/37934576

If any problem persists, I suggest you contact us directly so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the proper course of action. Best Buy was on top of the whole process. They kept me informed and were right on time for delivery. I have a TERRIBLE time with HP however, thus my rating. They HAVE to be replaced too often. Can't repair them. Then they SHUT OFF your computer remotely if they discern ANY problem with your instant ink account. Creeps.

    The worst printer ever

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought this 2 years ago and have hated it every day since. If it is not used frequently, it runs through a 5 minute process before it starts printing. If you don't want to wait and listen to this 5 minute wake up, I don't blame you. Plus I can't count the number of times I have sent a document to the printer only to have it not print. It seems to just get stuck and not print the document. Also the HP ink program requires that the printer never be turned off which is a waste of electricity when you leave on a trip or vacation. Apparently doesn't care about global warming. I'll never buy any HP product again.

    DO NOT BUY!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

DO NOT BUY ANY HP PRINTER! I enrolled in instant ink and was sent a surplus of ink... for this reason, I cancelled my subscription to catch up. Since I cancelled my subscription, the printer is now unable to use this ink (that I purchased) because HP is blocking my use of this product through a chip embedded in the ink cartridges. HP customer services response was to throw away the ink and put it in a landfill because its essentially deemed useless without a subscription. I will never buy HP again and will never buy ink from HP. Congratulations on driving a customer away and forcing them to buy third party ink.

i don’t know why i’ve bought 3 hp printers in the past and somehow all of them have been horrible. they leak ink, take ages to start and shutdown, and super super noisy, and on top of all that after you set it up once if you go to set it up a second time it completely doesn’t know what to do. i try multiple times to set it up on my wi-fi network with no luck. how are you gonna say the connection is too weak when the internet router is not even a foot away?? terrible product don’t waste your money otherwise you might end ip taking a sledgehammer to it like i did
