This is the worst printer! I’ve had it 3 months and haven’t used it. Until recently I’ve only printed out 18 pages and the ink is already gone! The paper jams and I have to constantly reset it to link with either my iPad or phone! Now I can’t even take it back!! So disappointed

      Hi there.

I’m sorry to hear that your printer has performed so poorly for you. It’s no wonder you’re so frustrated, considering you’ve dealt with rapid ink use, paper jams and connectivity issues. I want to help you remedy these problems and get the device working to your satisfaction, so I’ll provide some resourced I hope will achieve that goal.

First, I can’t say for certain what happened with the ink supply in your case, but some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less yet than ones in our Instant Ink program. It’s possible that the printer is not reading the cartridges correctly and is giving an inaccurate reading, but I suspect yours were setup cartridges.

Next, I recommend going through the steps to clearing and avoiding paper jams that you’ll find in this troubleshooting guide on our support site:
      - support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06262856

You can also visit a page on our support site that has diagnostic tools for various issues, including wireless connectivity. You can find that page here:

This printer is fine, but HP has locked all functionality unless you use their spyware/marketing software. They disable half of the funcitionality (like scanning) and force you to create an HP account in order to scan to the cloud.
