Easy setup in general, but not thrilled with HP trying to force you into their Instant Ink program. Read carefully before joining - we decided the free 6 months was not worth it in the long term. Having to keep track of how much you are printing and if you have Instant Ink and cancel, the cartridges will not work at the end of the subscription term and you have to send them back and purchase new cartridges that are not Instant Ink ones.

The 6 month free ink is a joke by the manufacturer. There are unforeseen rules and printing restrictions that ate not disclosed at purchase nor when you sign up for it. They monitor everything you print and charge you if you go over the limit of pages. Plus once you cance the ink service the printer will not work because you are using there so called free ink cartridges. So skip the 6 month ink supply offer. The company is too controlling!!

I recommend that you contact us directly at +1 800-474-6836 so we can help you assess what’s happening and find the best course of action. To expedite the process, I recommend gathering the following information before the call:
- Model number
- Serial number
- Your location
- Case number (from any previous contact with HP support)
I'll also mention that HP printers have a one-year warranty from their purchase date that covers hardware as well as ink supplies, so if it comes to that, you might consider making use of it. You can verify the warranty using the following link:

Fast & Easy Set-up

The HP was very easy to set up and has excellent quality and speed. I am still using the original starter ink set but did buy a new set at the same time as the ones that come these days are usually pretty low yield. I have used all the functions and they seem to be very good. The digital touch screen makes it a snap to use and is easier than using the computer interface that some printers rely on. Would definitely recommend this unit from my experience so far.
