I purchased this one because it was the only one available during the time when all of the printer shelves were empty in 2021. It has been nothing but a problem since day 1. If I try to copy something, it takes from four to five minutes before it will copy and print. HP tech supports answer is to try to sell me a new one. Don't sign up for their instant ink program. It is a scam to take your money. The last set of ink that I purchased through this program would not work after I cancelled the program... which charges you monthly, whether you need new ink or not. Buyer beware.

I found installation to be relatively easy for someone not necessarily techie. My issue would be the lack of a basic user manual- I understand I can get one on line - 180 pages!!! Something with the basic instruction/descriptions would have made the experience much better.

I'm not happy with the single paper feed. Needing to change from photo to regular copy paper EVERY time is annoying. The fact that the copy feed doesn't also scan, therefore having to scan each single sheet is also annoying. Then on top of that trying to reach Best Buy to see about returning it was a total waste of a COUPLE hours on hold and online only to find out it was 2 days past the 15 day return time given. Even though they are offering longer return times now for the Holidays, so I know it CAN be done, but they won't. Sorry I made the WRONG decision to buy online and from Best Buy. Won't happen again...

The only thing not included is a microchip slot to use for printing of photos from camera chip. Otherwise, color is good, feeder tray and double sided printing are nice features.

Thanks for the review and the feedback. While I’m glad you like the print quality your printer has delivered, I’m sorry that it has used ink more rapidly than you’d anticipated. I can certainly see why that would be an unwelcome surprise. I want to help you understand what’s happening with the device and remedy the problem if one exists, so I’ll offer what I hope are useful resources and information.
First, I can’t tell from your review how many prints you’ve gotten from a set of cartridges, but I’ll point out that some printers come with what are known as setup cartridges, which have a lower capacity than regular or XL cartridges, and less still than ones in our Instant Ink program. If you’ve used only the cartridges that came with the printer, this could explain what you’re seeing.
However, if you’ve installed replacement cartridges, the XL cartridges designed for your printer have estimated yields of 825 pages, while the regular size cartridges are expected to produce about 300 pages. How cartridges perform in your own printer varies according to numerous factors, including resolution, how dry the air is and how absorbent the paper is.
