While some find it larger than expected and a bit noisy, the convenience of wireless printing and scanning capabilities are also frequently highlighted. The printer's occasional paper jams are a noted drawback for some users.

Love our new HP OfficeJet Pro! We were hoping to find a reliable printer and have been very happy with this one. We bought it to replace a 4-month old Epson ET-2650, which was a huge disappointment. We have appreciated its speed and reliability. Ordered online and picked up in store. Process was fast and easy.

Runs quietly, prints photos sharply. Large footprint so I does take a lot of space on a desk or table.

This printer is easy to install on both a laptop and desktop computer. Print is good; inks last a fair amount of time. Instructions are easy to follow - very user friendly.

At first I was discouraged about this printer not being able to connect to my 5G internet connection, but it only takes about 30 seconds to turn on my 2G connection and boom, I’m up and running. Printer is very easy to use and has built in videos for loading paper/changing ink. A great bonus is the HP instaink and the ability to print items directly from your phone with HP app. Definitely worth the price!

I had previously had an 8600 model. When it had to be replaced, I wanted something with the same capabilities (all-in-one) with equal or better performance. So far, I have been very pleased with the 8720. I really like the improved performance over the 8600 and the new discharge paper tray is a real plus as far as I am concerned. Set up was no problem and I have not had any issues since start-up.

Just prior to this purchase i bought a Epson echo tank printer . I had problems printing wireless from my devices so made numerous attempts to resolve the issues with customer support. it was so frustrating trying to communicate (English versus other) that i threw in the towel and returned the Epson for the hp 8720. Bingo , all goes well with my set-up and communications with the HP customer staffing. I joined the HP ink program and must say so far all good.

Print and Scan is super easy....you can quickly make adjustments to size or lighter/darker for copies. Having to change out the entire paper tray to print a photo would be a serious issue if you plan to print photos often...if only occasionally, it's tolerable. 2-sided printing works well. Highly recommend the HP ink subscription!!

My old HP printer finally bit the dust but had been so dependable I wanted to stick with HP. This model is a little larger but I like the document feeder. Set up was very easy. Only disadvantage I have found is that it doesn't have a separate paper tray for photo paper, it's a minor nuisance as I sometimes like to print a photo from my phone but I can work with it. Next time I will make sure to buy a model with two paper trays but I would recommend this overall.

The printer is relatively quite and prints good clean documents. My normal paper is 20#/96brightness. The network communication is reliable and set up for my Mac was without troubles. It does take a few seconds to warm up and get going. My only complaint is the paper/envelope handling. I don't see an easy way to do a single envelope. You need to remove the paper to insert the single envelope. Not a deal breaker but a bit annoying. All told a good value for my print needs.

The printer works well, and printout quality is good. The only issue we've had with the unit is that it doesn't always find our laptops connected to the wi-fi, so scanning to a computer isn't always available. During installation I had to run the setup utility several times for the printer to finally be recognized and configured on my Macbook Air, but in the end it did work.

Printer was easy to setup and get hooked up to wifi. Print speed is quick, and the print quality is good. Love the large touch screen, but wish I didn't have to upgrade to this model to get the larger screen. The HP 8600 this replaced had a larger screen than the new 8710, which is ridiculous being as the 8600 is 5+ years old. Upgraded to this 8720 mainly to get the larger screen, which I find way easier to use than the tiny one on the 8710.
