    This item is absolutely the worst printer I've ever owned. I've had to exchange it 4 times now due to the exact same issue. In fact, one of them had the issue before even getting it set up for the first time. The ink carrier will get stuck into place on the far right side and it cannot be fixed. Even someone in Geek Squad tried to bust into one of them and make it move and it wouldn't move. I definitely will NOT be accepting another one if the same thing happens again.

    For $ 300.00 this printer is loud when it prints . I replaced a $100.00 HP printer I bought on sale about 5 years ago and had over 12,000 prints from it and even when it was new it was never this loud . Very DISAPPOINTED in this one , and in the specs they won’t list the decibels and now I see why . I wouldn’t buy this printer unless the noise doesn’t bother you .

    This printer prints fine and scans fine. However, it has limitations in the size of the document you can initiate from the panel. I can only scan 2 double side pages or when initiating from the printer panel. This is a known limitation of this printer per HP tech suppprt.

    It seems to work pretty well as we use it for homeschool to print all their school work, however we are already running out of ink and it’s only been a few weeks of using it and it costs $145 for new ones which IMO is expensive for only three weeks of use for homeschool.
