Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the Officejet Wireless e-All-In-One Instant Ink Ready Printer's print quality, ease of use, and wireless functionality. Many appreciate its compact size and the value for the price. While some users noted occasional noise and the potential for paper jams, the positive feedback on printing, scanning, and faxing capabilities outweighs these concerns. The printer's setup is also reported to be relatively straightforward.

We spent an hour trying to install on our PC and it would not work. We thane spent 2 hours on the phone with HP Help, at then end they informed us that there was a known problem with this printer on a Windows 7 PC. We returned to Best Buy and purchased another brand.

the product does not always connect and print when sent. It's often slow to print and often states error. The biggest single problem I had with the transaction, is best buys "points." The cashier rang up $25 in points, the receipt even states such. There was only $5 deducted from our bill. I tried calling and contacting, even went in to the local store, NOBODY will correct the problem. I've always believed best buy to be a reputable company, but blatantly ripping off $20, no cool..... I'll scrutinize my purchases and charges much more carefully in the store, I don't care how much I back up their lines! If I actually go back to best buy.

Wish I had spent a little more for a better printer. Also, I hate the funky little arm that's supposed to support the paper when it comes out of the printer. Doesn't do the job too well.

    Great little wireless printer

We were in BestBuy to update our Quicken program. We decided to look at a new printer to reduce cost of printing. We were lucky to have a HP Rep show us all the HP Laser jets printers and explain to my wife their different functions and capabilities. HP also was running a promotion for ink replacement cartridges. The program would monitor the ink usage over the internet and when you were low on ink would send you another ink cartridge. Of course this sold her and I was finally able to resolve another stressor for me. So, 2.99/mo for 50 pages. Great deal. The other and most important was the ability to Scan Documents/Bills/Receipts to a PDF file and with Quicken 2014, I could store the file in Quicken on a Network Hard drive and backup to anything for further peace of mind. No more cluttered desk or file cabinet. HP did a good job with the Wireless for printer/scanner. Look Mom, no wires. The printer recognized the computer wireless and sends the scan to your computer software file manager. You just rename file and store the file in a file folder of your choosing. And the shredding begins. Adobe PDF or any PDF reader can read the file. A DVD for backup and you have it made. The wife has her on computer, this were the software becomes complicated. A little tricky, because you need to only load the programs and drives for the printer to the second computer and that's were you need to stop. Activated for the primary computer. The wireless printing has been flawless and every one is happy and life is good again. And when it runs low on ink, I just check the mail. Or, the lovely little women will have an envelope for me to install. Oh, the cartridges are a little difficult to install compared to previous HP printers, but it is only two cartridges.

Very basic printer. Cartridges are too expensive for the amount of printing they provide.

First of all, great price! Printer was super easy to set up right out of the box! Nothing complicated at all - picked up my wireless signal easily. Was able to scan and print right away with no problem. Print quality is very good as well. Can't go wrong with this printer!

I purchased the HP Officejet 4630 for my daughter, but was disappointed when it wouldn't feed paper. I'm guessing it has something to do with the flimsy paper feeder design. If I had taken a closer look at the display model I wouldn't have wasted my time on this model. I returned the printer to Best Buy the next day and purchased a HP Laserjet for the same price.

I bought two of these printers - my old printer the 4620 was wonderful. The 4630 is very difficult to set up to connect wirelessly to the computer. Still not hooked up and there is no cord to use to connect to the computer IF you cannot get the wireless connection to work. Very disappointed.

I bought this printer when I purchased a new computer for my office. The Printer never did work right, and kept giving me an error message that the scanner mechanism was broken. I ended up returning it and buying a different brand. I had previously had an HP printer that had problems too.

    Not what I expected

This actually came with very little written information on how it works. If you follow the prompts on the display of the printer, you can access your wireless fairly easy, just know all your ids and passwords! As for printing, so far the copies are great when they print. It jammed on the first try at printing, didn't print any of the coupons for me (it had an oops moment) and it's kind of noisy.

Hp customer service is the worst. This was the third printer I purchased. Unfortunately I didn't purchase extended warranty. I was assured by a employee at best buy that this printer would print card stock and envelopes.

The print cartridge was wobbly and too flexible. As a result I kept getting error messages that the ink was not functional. I really only wanted to scan documents, but I could not get by the print error messages. I took the printer back.

    Nicely Designed Printer

This printer has a unique design that saves up a lot of space compared to other printers with a fax machine, and it is easy to take out the ink cartridges at anytime to replace it with a new one. This printer also allows you to print from a tablet or phone, and gives its own wifi. I have used it for a little over a year now, and there has been no issues.
