    Nice entry level "gaming" computer!

This computer is paired with a HP - OMEN X by HP 24.5" LED FHD FreeSync Monitor which is an adaptive refresh rate system developed by AMD, but the computer has Nvidea proprietary technology called Gsync but that only runs on their video cards. It's a great monitor, but there would be a benefit to using an Nvidea Gsync compatible version instead of the AMD. The motherboard is bare and offers no real paths for upgrades so the hardware is basically "as is". The power supply is suffient for the system as packaged, but would need to be replaced if you upgraded any exisiting components. The computer contains the highest end CPU that Intel currently offers, so a non-stock cooler would have been a nice inclusion. Out of the box it's a good offering that performs well, but it's targeted towards an out of the box user.

    WoW

Bought this after my 6 yr old Envy system died. Primary use is WoW and I'm getting 100FPS on high settings (for me this is a massive upgrade). Set up was easy however my old monitor was VGA and the DVI-VGA adapter I had wouldn't work. Only other issue I had was case lighting color wouldn't change rebooted system and it worked no more Horde red lol. Great system for the money yes you can build your own with better parts for less but I don't have the time or desire to go component shopping.

Good pc if you dont intend on upgrading inside.

Bought this for my first gaming pc, got a great deal on black friday. Performance was solid, but I wanted to upgrade some pieces, so first I upgraded the ram which was no problem, though theres only 2 slots for RAM so you cant go any higher. PSU upgrade was fine though small case makes it hard to keep cable managment clean. Then I wanted to upgrade the GPU first one I bought was an MSI 2070 which was too big for the case even though specs said it would fit, the hdd disk tray which cant be moved was in the way. Swapped the Msi for an EVGA 2070 which fit in the case but for whatever reason the HP omen motherboard the 24 pin connector is under the GpU slot making it impossible to fit any GPU card other than the one provided. So I went and bought a new motherboard which also didnt fit. Long story short HP didnt make any of the pieces inside the case or the case itself compatible for upgrades from other companies. So ended up buying a new case and all the other components needed and built my own pc, the only part salvaged from the HP was the CPU. So if you dont plan on upgrading inside the PC then this is the PC for you, but I would steer clear otherwise.

    AVOID ALL HP Gaming Desktops

I originally bought this HP Omen Gaming Desktop back in 2020 based on the enthusiastic recommendation of a salesman from the electronics department. To my utter dismay, it turned out to be a total piece of garbage. The system constantly overheated to the point where I had to take the side panel off and buy additional fans, which barely made a difference. After endless frustration, I ended up building my own PC, which has been a far better experience.

    good product, iffy graphics card

I really like the computer. It has a great amount of storage. Has a good processor too. I just think that the graphics card is really bad. With a 144 hz monitor I'm pulling only 110 hz. It will still be able to play every game. If you would to get this I'd recommend to upgrade the card once more powerful games come out.

    Nothing But A Bad Experience

The PC's hardware is good, however, it's not functioning! This has been a bad experience, every time I have to restart the computer or turn it on, the computer gets stuck booting up. I have to turn it off a few times during the process until it finally decides to actually boot up. I tried many ways to fix this, I eventually got desperate and tried to factory reset. Once I did the reset, the computer didn't turn on what's so ever. I brought it back at bestbuy and was able to exchange for the same product. The same issue is happening again and it hasn't even been a week since I purchased the original one. I have a older and weaker PC that works better than this PC with the same EXACT programs. I absolutely would never recommend this to anyone and I will be returning this 2nd PC for a full refund. Wasted 100$ on a warranty too. VERY UNHAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE!

    Very wack

I have concluded that this pc is indeed wack. The GPU is not even the one showcased in the photo and it is exponentially worse than the original 1660Ti. There is also one stick of ram which makes the performance worse. I can buy the parts and put them together for about 450$ if I buy the parts from offer up. So, do not buy this computer, find one off of someone off of offer up.

8 weeks and shipping for service.

After only eight weeks of light use, this PC is showing blue screen error for non functioning fan. Regardless of how it functions when it is returned, it has left me without a work PC for 2-3 weeks. Therefore it rates an irrevocable 1 star for me.
