Very Impressive System for the money.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was fortunate enough to find this on sale for $899. Like others, I tried to find another 16gb stick of the HyperX RAM but was difficult. HP was no help on the matter. Finally called Kingston and asked them to match the HP part #, the rep gave me a new part # stating that "it should work". I kind of chuckled and said "what"? He basically said it would either work or would lock up the system, which in that case just turn off system, remove the stick and turn back on. No harm, no foul. I ordered from Amazon for $69, had it next day. As I type this, I'm looking at OMEN Command center which is showing 32GB. I also ran a Windows 10 Ram Memory test which took about 45 minutes but returned no issues. Now...this is not to say that 2 weeks from now the system may crap out, who knows? I can't imagine why it would work stop working but who knows. I will attach image of replacement 16gb stick.

Wonderful performance
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer on Black Friday last week for $899 and am extremely happy with it. Out of the box it looks very sleek and the glass side panel makes it look very high end. I have played a few games on it so far, such as Overwatch (on Ultra settings with a stable 60 fps), Minecraft with SEUS shaders (also with a stable 60 fps) and Destiny 2 (was not able to get an exact fps, but it looked to be around 60 too), and all ran very smoothly. This pc is also pretty fast and was able to download my games almost twice as fast as my old laptop. You can also change the color of the lights on it as well. Overall, this was an exceptional deal for what I paid and it’s probably the best purchase I’ve made in a while. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome Starter Pc.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Pre build is one where the company does it right. Cables are managed nicely, nothing was loose on arrival. Runs smoothly on every game I've played so far. Max settings on Sea of thieves at 1080p, I get 100 to 110 Fps, Rise of the Tomb Raider max settings I get about 80 fps at 1080p, and then Conan Exiles at max I get about 100 fps at 1080p. I got it on Black Friday for 900 U.S dollars and it's worth every penny. Looking forward to upgrading in the future. Overall this buy is rated a GG EZ.

Simply a very fast computer.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although it is a gamer computer, I bought this one for doing digital image And video processing for my business. It will not disappoint you if you plan to use Lightroom and Photoshop and Adobe Premiere. Graphics card is outstanding as I can do 30bit deep color rendering. The wireless card has been capable of speeds of 280 Mbps even with the computer sitting about 25 ft away from the router in the second floor. The mouse was a simple wired mouse that I immediately replaced with a wireless one. The keyboard is also wired but very comfortable and a great layout of keys. No speakers or monitor are supplied with this computer. Memory is easily upgradeable up to 64 GB. The computer boots faster than any other computer I’ve ever had. It is not loaded with much bloatware.

Don’t ever update the BIOS and it’s perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best computer I’ve ever had (even considering the fact that it’s not currently booting up at all (due to the faulty BIOS update that HP recommended). It’s great for gaming if you’re just getting into it and it looks pretty cool. Just don’t trust that BIOS update, my dudes.

Good intro gaming pc w/ upgrade limitations.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This being my first gaming pc I was impressed with how sleek and powerful it was despite only being a 1660 ti model graphics card with the intel i7 9700k CPU, ran Destiny 2 and FF14 both at 60 fps while having majority of settings set to high. I went to upgrade the PSU the other day to prep for the coming months of upgrades I wanted to do thinking the PSU should be the first thing so I went with the EVGA 850 wat GQ over the stock 500 wat PSU. Took some time to install and the cable management on the 850 is way better. Wasnt until I tried closing my access panel that my sata power cable was sticking out from the new PSU while the older one had a 90 degree angled sata power cable this one did not. I tried pulling the HDD out in the meantime so I could close the case but one of the factory snaps broke off, I could still take the HDD out but only owning it a little more than a week and 1/2 snaps broke already? The 850 is also massive and it covers up the back panels screw slot to take it off not to mention takes up half of the bottom panel, a bigger GPU would almost be tricky to install with the limited space. Pros: GPU, CPU, good size ram, nice looking case with the black/red. Factory cable management was amazing. Cons: poor spacing for upgrades, poor quality of some of the internals.

Q: QuestionHow many cores are there in this pc
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It has 8 cores. The CPU that this computer has is an i7-9700 which is an octa-core processor. A very new cpu since it is part of the 9th gen, so it will have support from Intel for a very good while. It has Intel Turbo Boost Technology, so it will naturally boost your processor speed close to 4.7GHz, so do not let the base frequency, which is 3GHz, let you down a bit. You will get around 4.2-4.5GHz on average

Q: QuestionIs there a gtx 1660ti installed or not? What size pwr supply?
Asked by oldgeezer.
- A:Answer It says in the name that it is a GTX 1660ti. I can confirm that the video card is exactly as described. It is the 6gb version of the card. The Power Supply is 500Watts.

Q: QuestionThe advertisement and stated processor says its a 9th gen i7-9700 however if you click on the pdf information for this computer it states that it is an 8th Gen i7-8700? Also indicates that graphics are onboard and not the GPU?
Asked by Anthony.
- A:Answer the PDF itself is wrong. not sure why, i am thinking it was a general info for the computer and bare minimal. this pc has many models for it. this particular one does have a gtx 1660 ti, and a i7-9700

Q: QuestionIs the storage (and other features, I suppose) upgradeable? If I wanted to install higher storage (a 2TB HDD or a 500g SSD, for example) is that doable? If so, is it easily doable?
Asked by newtopcgaming.
- A:Answer very easy to swap or add hard drives - the solid panel pops right off and there are two drive bays ready to go. i did what you are asking about by pulling the 1TB drive that came with the system out, and replacing with a 2TB drive that already had my game files on it (steam stuff - you know what i mean) and adding a 1TB SSD in the second bay. Transferred the system settings from the "old" computer to this new one using TransWiz to migrate the windows 10 user profiles from the old machine and this freed up the 1TB SSD from the "old" machine to be used for game files on the Obelisk.

Q: QuestionWould this be a great option for running Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop? Is it possible to add more RAM yourself?
Asked by PP1.
- A:Answer Yes, it can rip though photo editing, no problem. You can easily add more RAM, but you may end up having to replace the existing memory stick when you do (read my review for details). It can handle a max of 32gb.

Q: QuestionIs the 1660 ti better then the 1060? And if so why is this one cheeper then the 1060?
Asked by Jacob.
- A:Answer Yes, 1660 TI is 6GB GDDR6 vram, which is much much better than the 1060 3GB version computer you mentioned. 1660 TI came out this year for a budget version of those RTX 20 series cards (example RTX 2060, RTX 2070, etc). It just lacks SLI and Ray Tracing to make the video card cheaper.

Q: QuestionWhen I went to connect my monitor cable to the back of the computer it didn't fit the connector on the back. Does this computer use a different cable for the monitor connection other than the standard monitor cable used on most computers?
Asked by TTQuick.
- A:Answer yes, it uses a different connector. you can purchase an adapter connector or, if your monitor has an HDMI port for connecting, you can use that
Answered by EpsonReview
Q: Questionis this valve index ready?
Asked by krafty.
- A:Answer It meets or exceeds the minimum specs, and the 1660 Ti is on par with the recommended 1070, so it should work fine.
