I purchased the iBUYPOWER Scale Gaming Desktop PC during the Black Friday sale, and it arrived on December 5th, right to my doorstep. Now, when I write the review, I saw the price is back to normal! I never regreted buying this one on sale! From the moment I set it up, I’ve been in love with this machine. The sleek black design looks modern and fits perfectly in my gaming and work setup. In terms of performance, it’s been fantastic for both gaming and running demanding statistical applications. Games run smoothly, and apps like R and Python-based statistical tools perform exceptionally well. The Intel Core i5 14400F processor combined with 16GB of DDR5 RAM ensures snappy performance even when multitasking. For gaming, most titles run like a dream. However, for some graphically intense games like Age of Empires IV, I did notice that I had to lower the settings a bit to maintain smooth performance. This isn’t a dealbreaker for me, but it’s worth noting that while the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 is a solid GPU, it may require some tweaking for ultra-high graphics settings in the most demanding games. The 1TB NVMe SSD is a real highlight. Load times are virtually nonexistent, and there’s plenty of storage for my games, software, and files. I’ve been using the iBUYPOWER Scale Gaming Desktop for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, it’s a solid mid-range gaming PC for the price. The Intel Core i5-14400F paired with the RTX 4060 runs most modern games at high settings without breaking a sweat. Titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Warzone, and Valorant play smoothly with great frame rates. The 16GB DDR5 RAM is a nice touch – super fast, and multitasking is effortless. I can game, stream, and have a bunch of Chrome tabs open without any lag. The 1TB NVMe SSD gives me more than enough space for my games and loads everything crazy fast. The case looks sleek with its black finish and subtle RGB lighting – nothing too flashy, which I like. It’s also pretty quiet, even under load.
