It's a great OmniBook, color is beautiful, but it's not what I wanted it, I wanted a PC that can read SD camera cards and this one only plays the sound but no picture.

The OmniBook 5 is an impressive lightweight laptop. The small foot print makes it great for travel, student or off site work. The OmniBook feels great, not cheap like lesser models of other brands, it is very durable, the keyboard feels perfect, and each key has a positive feedback so you have positive results for each key press. The only thing that I wish was an option was a backlit keyboard. The dark keys in a dark room are sometimes too dark. Backlighting would solve this. The Snapdragon processor with 16 gigs of ram really impressed me. The response time for everything I threw at it was perfect. The 512 MB storage is sufficient, I would however add a thumb drive or USB drive to back up all important files. The Omni has 2 USB C and 1 drop jaw USB A port. Boot time from off till login was less than 20 seconds. The touch screen and oversized track pad are a perfect match to go back and forth from. Especially when viewing pictures on the OLED screen. I like to be able to zoom on the touch screen. I loaned my laptop to my daughter for a day when hers was down. She took it to her campus and throughout 4 classes. Took notes, viewed PDFs and videos. She said it was perfect. Now she wants the same model. She also noted that in a quiet classroom the noise from typing was nonexistent. The battery icon was still at full when she came back home. The Battery is indeed very impressive. Up to 20 plus hours. This laptop is perfect for the student, small office or frequent traveler. If you are looking for a gamer laptop or editing photo/videos. I would look for a higher end model. The OS Windows 11 with copilot was quite nice. I went down the rabbit hole for a few hours playing and learning about AI and playing with it. Making tons of AI pics that were hilarious. The camera is sufficient at 1080P as are the built in mics for zoom calls, or face recognition for logging in. The speakers are very nice and sufficient. I would recommend this to family and friends.

Not sure about this as of yet. It sometime appears to be slow to load, it is weird as it is twice the computer I had before.

The HP OmniBook 5 Copilot+ PC 14" 2K OLED Touch-Screen Laptop with Snapdragon X Plus processor has quickly become my go-to laptop for everyday use. This laptop is the perfect size for me at 14". It is fairly lightweight at just under 3 pounds and is thin at .5" It easily fits into my backpack. It has a gorgeous 2K OLED screen that also happens to be a touch-screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The visuals are crisp, clear and vibrant and that is one the most important things to me in a laptop, other than performance. This laptop is very quick to launch (supporting Windows Hello) and is extremely quiet. I have not once heard the whir of a fan. The more familiar I get with the Snapdragon X Plus processor, the more I like it. I run my fair share of apps, and I am having absolutely no compatibility issues. Everything I've run, has run as expected. I wouldn't use this PC as a true gaming laptop, but I was able to play Code of War without any lagging or problems. The ports on this are limited, with two USB-C 10Gbps, one USB-A 10Gbps and a mic/headphone port. For my use as a everyday laptop, the ports are really quite sufficient. The keyboard is not backlit - and sometimes that does matter, but I got it knowing this. This laptop also comes loaded with AI including HP AI Companion app and Microsoft Co-Pilot. It also has 16gb of LPDDR5x RAM which is plenty for everyday use. It keeps everything running smoothly for me so far. The 512gb solid state storage drive is also quite sufficient as these days, a lot of what I want to store is kept in one cloud or another. The battery performance is top-notch with up to 34 hours! Of course, your mileage may vary, depending on the type of use. And there is a quick-charge - a 30 minute charge can get you from 0% to 50%. Streaming movies is fantastic on this - the picture is amazing on the OLED screen and the sound is quite a pleasant surprise, being pleasing to the ear and not tinny at all. There are dual speakers coming out the bottom front of the laptop, which isn't my favorite placement for speakers, but it works for this one and it keeps the footprint of the laptop small. The WiFi connected easily and hasn't once lost the connection. I experience little to no latency while streaming or anything else online. This is, to me, an exceptional laptop with mid-tier performance at a budget price. It is everything I want it to be and, surprisingly, even more! I couldn't be happier with this HP OmniBook 5 Copilot+ PC 14" 2K OLED Touch-Screen Laptop with Snapdragon X Plus and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a great, lightweight laptop that is perfect for everyday use. Productivity applications, streaming movies on the gorgeous OLED display, email, etc. are all a delight on this laptop.

This purchase did not meet my expectations. Returned.

Beautiful laptop, but it kept freezing up. Nothing would work. No cursor, or any keys (CTRL+ALT+DEL) didn't work. Had to force a shut down all the time. Returned it.
