The graphics are great. The speed difference from 1.2 is very noticeable. I love everything about this computer except when I am downloading sometimes I do have to delete and download again because it stop downloading. I liked this computer so much I got my bf one the next month.

This laptop is for my daughter who will be off to college next year. She needed a mac type computer to be able to complete lots of assignments etc and with all I read and all the sales people at Best Buy talked about this fit the bill. She is already using it and loves it!

Just wish I spent more time with sales representative when I bought my computer. Spent a lot of time at home figuring things out...still figuring things out.

I am very happy with this computer. It is my first laptop and I could not be more pleased. The display is bright and crisp, it has an Ethernet port in case I need it, and also a CD/DVD drive. Battery life is good too. I would purchase this computer again.

We replaced our old desktop PC with this lap top and it has performed flawlessly. It's taken us some time to get used to Windows 10, but for the most part is pretty much intuitive. Great selling point for me was the CD/DVD drive available with the PC.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. I use this laptop for several things since I am self employed. My daughter does online schooling and we both have found this to be great for all our needs.

After much research, I decided to buy a new HP to replace one purchased in 2009. I am very happy with it so far and offer the following impressions to prospective buyers: PROS: Great features and value for PC under $500. I love Geek Squad and they were very helpful in clearing junk programs, loading Outlook and Office 2010, as well as my email history and other stuff I wanted transferred from the old HP. With Best Buy and Geek Squad it is very painless to make purchase and set up a new laptop. Great buying and setup experience! This is a very fast PC. Geek squad advised me to turn off and unplug the machine when not in use to extend service life of the laptop and battery. I was concerned about the laptop taking a lot of time booting up and updating at startup. I experience immediate access to programs on startup. Runs very cool compared to my vintage HP. Nice large screen, but comes at a price, (see cons). Does not seem cheap looking like a few others have mentioned here. CONS: The mouse pad is quirky. I wish it had separate mouse buttons. It is too easy to change the zoom level from the keypad. I wish it had a setting to freeze the zoom level without accidentally changing it with the mouse pad. It has already happened three times as I write this. This could be more Windows 10 related than hardware related. The single surface mouse pad amplifies this problem. It is a very large laptop. The size is perfect for me because I rarely take my laptop with me on trips. When I travel, I prefer using my tablet. It took some searching to find a case that would fit it. Consider a model with a screen closer to 15" for school or if you plan to frequently take it with you on trips. All in All, I am very satisfied with this laptop.

This laptop is great for going back to school because of the memory space. I still plan on using external memory for papers but overall this computer is great. I love the fact that it has a disc drive as well as a 1tb hard drive, which most pcs don't.

This was a good buy. Both look and feel and performance of this configuration is good. I missed the deal (there was a lower promotion price a day before) still I went ahead and purchased it.

Laptop is very easy to use. Enjoying the battery life to project YouTube on big screen TV. Has the 10 key paid that I was looking for to use for work and number related projects.

Overall the computer has performed very well. I have had some problems with the Bluetooth connecting with some of my wireless speakers, but that has been the only thing.

Best to have GEEK set up computer so you can personalize the programs by selecting what you use the most. Easy to eliminate unwanted programs once you go through set up.

I depend on Best Buy for advice on all of my electronic needs and they did not let me down on this recommendation. This laptop meets all of my needs and capabilities.

My husband bought me this computer for XMas. I don't like the mouse pad. The longer you use the computer the less the mouse works .I brought it into the Geek squad and was told nothing was wrong with it. I cannot play a game with it because I have to keep moving the mouse or keep hitting the mouse pad several times. The time runs out and the game is over. This is a HP computer. I would like a response. TY

The computer is good but the Windows 10 operating system is slow. This operating system is harder for seniors also. Spend the money for a better operating system.

i like hp product because i used it when i was children until now ,right now i am a adult i still used my best brand of hp ,only hp make me feel confident .

For the price, it's a decent laptop. The problem? It's ridiculously sensitive to any weight you may put on it from the palms of your hands while you're typing. It is CONSTANTLY changing the page zoom size on me.

My college student daughter loves the laptop I got her. She can open two windows at one time. Her grades this semester were 98s and 99s ! She feels the laptop is not too heavy to carry to her workplace.

I needed a laptop for my daughter. Saw this in store, had pretty much everything i was looking for. Sufficent RAM, Plenty of storage. Thanks Best Buy!!
