Q: is the 6gb of ram upgradeable to 16gb????
A: Not without removing the whole bottom to access the 2 DIMM slots, M.2. wifi, and HDD. I upgraded mine to 16GB of PC1866 Crucial along with a Samsung EVO 850 500GB SSD. Note that the wifi card is M.2 size and only has 1 antennae routed to the top lid. The computer is quite fast with the above configuration. Only wish it had a discrete graphics but HD5500 is not bad.
Q: Can I connect wireless mouse and keyboard?
A: I do not know about a keyboard, but I attached a wireless mouse easily and it works great. The mouse I purchased is Microsoft.
Q: Is the battery user removable?
A: Yes, the battery is user replaceable.
Q: 6 GB of MEMORY, can it be increased to 8 GB or more
A: Yes, you can increase the ram up to 16GB.
Q: for a student going to college?
A: I use it for school all the time, and it's perfect. It's large enough for me to use multiple pages at one time.
Q: What is approx battery life
A: 5 hours before needing to be charged up. Does not take long to charge.
A: It absolutely does, albeit in a very inconvenient spot (under the USB ports, have to lift the laptop to even see the card reader). The Slot is standard SD size, so if you have micro/mini SD you'll likely need the adapter
Q: Does it have a backlit Keyboard?
