I recently replaced my current desktop computer. It worked right away right out of the box and so far, no issues. It does seem to have a lot of horse power. I did find the CD/DVD tray a little awkward to use being in the vertical position.

The HP - Pavilion Desktop-Intel Core i7 is an excellent computer and has enough speed space to handle most applications.

The HP pavilion 595-P0084 is a great computer. It is easy to set up, very fast and has a 1Tb hard drive (plenty of storage). The only shortcoming I have found is the SSD is just too small (128Gb). If you are transferring the contents from an old computer, the "C" drive (the SSD) fills up too soon. I have found a simple solution by "cloning a 500Gb SSD and swapping it for the 128Gb SSD. Now I, totally, love it!

My main purpose for getting this is to write/edit video and so far it has performed beautifully

This computer is very fast for normal things and is very capable if you need to do anything or want to do basic gaming.
