I hate to review a new item as they are always new

Just what I needed for my hobby at making DVDs and turning those sideways videos right side up.

This computer is louder than others but pretty great still. Much better than my old computer.

My only complaint is having the HP software wanting to do updates and monitoring.

I purchased this desktop five weeks ago. The response time is fast with nearly all applications. I did need to replace the mouse and keyboard that came with it, because they simply weren't comfortable and the keyboard was too small with the keys crowded. It continues to be a problem though that I can't print from any of the applications, nor will the desktop talk to my scanner. I've contacted support for the peripherals, and all have demonstrated that their equipment works. That leaves the desktop as the source of the problems.

HP always delivers and this PC is no exception! My son loves it!

My only complaint about this PC is the lack of an extra HDMI port.

Good overall, but the CD drive feels kind of flimsy

Paying also $1000 for a desktop I expected the desktop to be setup correctly instead of me having to spread many hours reconfiguring the desktop the way it should have come out of the box. I got NO help from Bestbuy or HP. The desktop came with a 128gb SSD and a 1tb HHD drive, but HP was too lazy to put the OS on the SSD drive and program and everything else on the 1TB HHD drive, which is why you purchase a desktop with both an SSD drive and a HHD drive. They put everything on the small 128GB SSD drive leaving no space to install any new programs. I will never purchase from Bestbuy or HP ever again. The support for both companies are outsourced overseas giving no help and don't even speak English.

It's ok in that it allows me to install most of my programs I had on Windows 7, however, it's already crashed 3 times. Not a good sign. If it happens again, I will reformat it and return it.

The SSD drive on this PC is too small for windows and MS Office and mine is full and driving me crazy just after 2 months of purchasing it! I can't even switch the SSD drive with a larger one because the SSD and HD are one unit.

My CD/DVD burner doesn't work . I called HP they said its a software problem. They give me the number to their software dept. Then they tell me ,they help but it would cost me $50.00. Are you kidding me its brand new. The computer freezes at times, I taught the computer would be faster, which I was disappointed that it wasn't. I didn't take out of the box till after 15days later, that was my fault. Best buy told it was my problem. Nice to hear.
