I had an HP before bought it around 2009 and bought this one recently. It suits my purpose which mainly is word processing, checking email, and surfing the net.

Stick with full size desktop if you want a desktop

The CD/DVD tray button does not work. I can open and close the tray from the option in My PC / Devices and remove the front panel and manually push the sensor... but for some reason the button on the front of the machine does not hit the drive sensor button. I have always purchased HP and will continue to do so... But I think I should have gone with a standard Desktop model vs. the Slimline.

Great Deal But Not What I Needed

I don't do much gaming on the comp but I do watch a lot of movies while me and the wife work out. I like picture quality so I was hoping for an HDMI outlet. The pictures on the website did not show what the hookups look like in the back of the computer. The description for the Deal of the Day did not have a lot of information either. With the compact design it could not be upgraded either so I returned it without plugging it in. No Harm No Foul.
