The disk drive on this product is sideways making it very difficult to insert a disk. You have to try to get it into before the drive door shuts and not have it fall into the computer itself.

on a few occasions the mouse and keyboard would stop working

This was by far the best purchase for our daughter who will be starting Middle school next year. Set up was very easy and the processor was nore than enough to get the job done for assignments she will have.

Computer was easy to get set up with Windows 8.1. I had never used it before and did not look forward to getting a new computer. Glad I did now I have full computer capacity that I had sacrificed previously

This is a good computer. It really needs more USB ports. Also it does. Not have room for extra boards we had to buy external.

I really like the expanded use the windows 8 gives me over my previous computer tower.

This had benefits promised that were not provided by the geek squad.so I still do not have them and they claim no knowledge of them. No protection, said it was free.

I like this computer. It is a littler slimmer than I thought it would be but every thing has worked well for me.

Thankful for the Geek Squad! Technician had to reprogram to connect to Comcast Internet Service. Had been trying for 3 weeks, Techie friend first, 4 calls to Comcast, computer back to store, checked for Ethernet card, more calls, Technician from Comcast who said it was the computer, returned computer for new one, still would not connect, and finally the Geek Squad fixed it!

Slower than I like but meets my needs at the priceI wanted to pay

My vista laptop of 8 years ago was faster. Lots of pre-installed junk I don't need. Plus, it's been a deal of the day *twice* in the past 30 days since I bought it and BB would do nothing about matching that price. I asked in-store and called an online representative and I was told two different answers. Way to keep your customer happy. This machine is good for e-mail, social media and some YouTube watching but that's about it.

I purchased 2 of these systems and one works great and the other locks up every 2 or 3 hours and Best Buy would not take them back or replace them. I contacted HP and was told I would have to send it overseas and it would take 8 -12 weeks I have a tax business can't be without them that long. I will deal with it after the busy season.

Not a gamer or power PC, but very very nice for general uses such as office work, or standard internet uses, news, music, etc...

Great deal on a decent pc. Only drawback is windows 8.

Very good budget desktop for fast web browsing . Very impressed with windows 8.1 and free one drive cloud storage of documents.

My computer died and needed a computer that night. Not many options at store. Took home, turned on, did it's initial set up of programs. Had problems from the start. If I had not purchased GEEK squad, would have been a disaster. The initial start up programs was corrupted. Took GEEK squad 6 hours to erase all programs and then put them back on the computer. Was a HP manufacturing defect. I could do nothing else as Best Buy store had no more in stock. New store less stock, got to figure that one still out.

no problems encountered! will definitely buy the same brand in the future.

I use this computer several times a day . I always liked this brand and look forward to the continued use of it.

Displays are clear and the computer functions well. The screen is large enough that even with trifocals the images can easily be recognized.
