It extends all the way to the end of the computer, none of that black plastic border. However, I was very disappointed to find out that windows does not support Zoom. so sad because I use Zoom everyday especially with online class and virtual learning. Another shocking thing would be the computer was smaller than I thought, so its probably smaller than you think too but I have gotten used to it and I think its just more portable being this size. Not too heavy, not too light.
