    While the printing in this machine is of good quality the overall user friendliness is horrible. Very difficult to operate and always goes offline. Would never buy an HP printer again.

    I’m glad that HP finally went to ink tanks and eliminated those expensive ink cartridges. The up front cost for the printer is higher but with all the printing I do I will save money in the long run and not run out of ink in the middle of a project.

    Took two of them to get working. The first unit would recognize the magenta tank as being full and after an hour on chat with customer service, I told them to forget it as I would just exchange it. The second one I talked completely and prints nicely. I need a multifunction scanner/printer with a feeder as I scan a lot of documents, and the feeder has jammed twice in the first day of use. For a printer in this price rance, the menu/display is lacking. The $175 printer this replaced had a much better user interface.
