Best looking copper & black,16 GB Ram, i7, 512 SSD, upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, and bought a Samsung SSD external hard drive to keep my extra files on which operates extremely fast . Great for keeping Music and Movies on for fast retrieval with no delays. Touch screen works better with a Dell Active Stylus than HP's. The HP black and copper mouse works well as the HDMI port for a monitor.

After extensive search, I found that Best Buy offered the best price that included free delivery. The item was delivered very promptly in a well packaged condition. The convertible had the specs I wanted and it works like a charm. Best Buy also offered a protection software, but I did not download as I get complete protection from my work place. Purchasing the laptop at Best Buy was the best part of the whole process.

I am facing the problems with this laptop from the day, I started using it. I don't recommend this laptop as an option to buy. If you are buying this laptop, that means you are looking for a high end laptop. Forget about the high end part, It's not even doing it's basic job correctly.
I usually don't write reviews on a product unless it is too worst product. I spent my hard earned money of nearly $1100. This amount is too much for my budget, but I tried to manage it somehow. I couldn't control my frustration.
I have only one thing to say friends, DON'T BUY THIS LAPTOP.
The problem, I am facing is a square (sometimes circle) box that flickers on the screen continuously. It comes all of a sudden. Once this happens, It doesn't let me do anything on the laptop until I force restart by pressing the power button. I am not sure whether it is hard ware or software issue. Even the hp customer support doesn't have any clue about it.
I tried to upload a video as well to give clear picture about my issue, but bestbuy review process is not letting me upload any other file except a jpg.

I've had this laptop for a couple of months and so far it has been great. Although, I had to exchange the first one, I won't knock off any "points" for that as it was HP support that caused an issue.
I bought the laptop and one of the HP Active Pens that are designed to work with this. The computer didn't recognize the pen so I contacted HP support. They took control of my PC and changed settings and updated the BIOS which then completely disabled the touchscreen. They said I would have to send it in to be repaired. I was within the return window so I just exchanged it instead. The new one has been working flawlessly!
Pros:
-Small/lightweight
-Great design
-Very fast
-Able to handle design software (Adobe CS6) despite not having a dedicated GPU
able to multitask without lag
Cons:
-Gets hot if using on lap (solution: buy a cheap lapdesk)
-Battery life shorter than less powerful machines
-Windows 10 is still not optimized for high PPI screens which can cause scaling issues in some programs/situations

I bought this for my sister who is a bookkeeper. She has a lot of clients that she has to meet with and is always on the road. She needed a small, light, powerful and dependable computer, this filled the bill. I got this in the ash silver that has the copper color on the edges and she has gotten many compliments on the looks of her computer by clients. While she is grateful for the compact, light power this dependable computer has given her. She liked it so much I bought one for my wife.

Pretty Good Laptop

I must admit that I was going for a good looking and most importantly, a —very thin and light — laptop. The HP Spectre covers all of those things. I travel for work and get on planes, trains, and buses all the time and the portability was a must. The Spectre fits in my totes and most of my bags, which makes picking up and going quicker. As a lady with smaller arms and hands, I have no problem swiping the laptop off the table with with one hand and walking off with a coffee in my other hand. Nice and light. It also has a touch screen and I now seemlessly scroll/enlarge/select on the screen and type when I want on the keyboard. I can also fold the screen all the way back against the keyboard so it looks like a tablet. Love all of that. So the bad: it gets hot relatively fast (at least faster than my other laptops) and the battery goes relatively quickly as well. After about 5 hours of VPN, browser, email and Microsoft office use, I would need to find an outlet to plug in. It would be around 15% at that point. Other than that, I am happy with my choice.

My son and I had researched and reviewed laptops in the $800-$2000 price range for DAYS before making this purchase. We wanted a top-performance light-wright machine with the latest processor, at least 8 GB RAM, and sufficient graphics card, ports, and other features so that he can use it for his entire 4 years in college without worrying about speed, performance, and memory issues as technology upgrades occur. THIS WAS IT! We had also considered the Windows Surface Book and the 13" Apple MacBook Pro Retina, but as an Engineering student, decided against the MacBook, then decided the higher price of the Surface Book did not offer much more than what the HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 had. For less money, it was just about as comparable. After he got his hands on it, he loved it. Lightweight, gorgeous, responsive, fast, and all the features we needed. Might even go buy a second one for myself!

What I like about this laptop is
1 - light weight
2 - has 3 USB ports
3 - fast
4 - good looking
I was looking for that items about 3 months, was lucky to get it on Black Friday for discount price. I like idea to have it 2 in 1,so when I need type smth I can do it Old way,but if I need to use it as tablet, fold it and here I can do stuff as u want. I can carry it everywhere cause it's tiny and light weight. The only thing it warms up quick. So I have to be carefully about it.

Spectre X360 is sleek, lightweight, and a great aesthetic tool to have.
Its thin design makes for a fantastic product to carry with you to classes, and the ash silver color makes it very eye catching, so if you want a computer that works great and looks great, this is the one.
Processing speed is incredibly fast, and its battery life will last me nearly a whole day without needing to charge. Fast internet connection, brilliant backlit keyboard.
Only draw back is the hinge and flex of the device. It seems many individuals have slight problems with the comp not being perfectly flat when open, but it is not as huge an issue as you might think. Comp will last a good while.

I've gotten a lot of compliments for this computer and, come on, that's pretty much the only reason we're willing to spend 1k+ on a computer. The computer does get a little hot after a couple hours of being used but it's not as bad as people make it sound. I'm a college student and I've been taking it to school everyday since it is really light and It can pretty much handle any work I throw at it.

Really nice PC.. The darker Ash Silver color makes it stand out from the other routine natural silver Spectres. Would prefer the speakers on top of the keyboard instead of on the side of the device, but the sound is awesome. Tends to run a bit hot but works great. No issues with stalling and the 16GBs of RAM can seem to handle anything! Love the ability to switch from laptop to tablet in a snap. A bit pricey but a great lightweight, easy to use laptop. You won't be disappointed.

Wanted a light weight (3lb) but not plastic laptop. The HP Spectre x 360 is a great purchase. It runs quietly. Glad I decided on the 16gb, 512gb Solid State. Keyboard is smooth, well spaced keys. The power button is recessed on the side, never have a problem hitting it accidently when picking up the laptop. Like the flip and fold design, although, used mostly as laptop so far. Love the color, more copper than silver. Stands out from the rest in many ways.

I didn't want to buy another Apple laptop. So I researched the newest wave of mac lookalikes and thought this would be a good replacement. I really thought I was going to love this Laptop. It's sharp looking, got a beautiful screen. The first morning I used it I literally couldn't see the letters on the keys. The keys are silver and the letters are... kind of silverish. No contrast whatsoever . Turning the backlighting on actually reduced the contrast in the light. And I found that under most conditions other than complete darkness, the backlighting was actually worse than no backlighting. And the backlighting is completely uneven, one or two keys are overly bright, several keys get no light and the rest get varying levels of dim light that under most conditions reduce the contrast between the letters and the surrounding color of the keys. The keyboard is a disaster. I've attached a photo of it and my wife's MacBook - Apple felt black and white might be a better choice for keys. I concur. Nevertheless, I thought I could live with that. Five days in the laptop stopped charging. Would say "plugged in, not charging." I returned it and got another one. Got it home and the Enter key was broken. Clearly HP has some QC issues. Took it back and got a third one. The next day I was using it to stream a live video presentation to 20 people via a hdmi cable to an 80 inch TV. Half way through I decided to plug the power cord in it. The screen went black, flickered, video came back after a few seconds - no audio. Messing with the audio options did nothing. Audio completely gone. Pretty embarrassing - all I did was plug the power cord in. When I stick the power cord in our MacBook nothing happens except the battery begins to charge - no flickering, no excitement . I returned it. I didn't want to buy another Apple, But I'm going to.

This is a great laptop for home use and for toting around to work/school/coffee shops. So light, looks great, and speedy! The first Spectre we bought had a dead battery charger, brand new out of the box, so we did a quick return exchange the same day and all works like it should. I have noticed the battery area on the bottom gets really quite hot when it's plugged in and the laptop is in use at the same time, so we've taken to turning it off to charge. Ultimately we're really pleased with the Spectre and would highly recommend.
