Ash silver does make a difference as compared to other comparable laptop out there. It's beautiful and with 16 GB, it's going to be fine handling tasks. I was looking for a 1 TB with 16 GB but none was available so I settled with this one. It does get warm rather quickly even though I am not running any heavy application. Because of that, I'm giving it 4 stars.

I bought this for the owner of the company I work for. They have all the specs a business grade laptop would have, but they are ultra modern looking and light weight. Have purchased a total of three now and they are great!

Went for an older model because of the number of ports it offers. So far so good, no complaints whatsoever. Upgraded from the MacBook Air. This machine does everything better. Can't be any happier. Highly recommended

Can't recommend this laptop enough!!!! Super fast (16GB RAM), tons of storage, amazing screen resolution, multitasking champ, super lightweight, touchscreen, long battery life, etc., etc. Overkill? Maybe, but why not buy quality with spec's that will keep up for years to come? I must say that I don't seem to use the touch screen all that much but it's a nice feature to have. Spend a little more money and get this. You won't be sorry. You won't regret it. [Side note, works great with playing Kerbal :) ]

Golden trim really makes this laptop pop, but the i7, ample RAM, and good sized SSD means this laptop will last all through college!

I've purchased 3 of these now for employees. Super fast boot with the SSD and capable of running multiple guest VMs with the 16GB of RAM. I did need to spend $99 to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, but still a good value.

I HATED my prior laptop (a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro) so very much, that when it finally blew out its video driver, I knew it was time to come back to a brand I had relied upon previously, and that included HP. This particular Spectre X360, which is one version older than the just-released update, still has three traditional USB ports (which is fine!) - but the same rugged quality and exceptional keyboard as the newest entry. I'm *very* happy with it, now having used it for a month. No second-guessing whatsoever in this case - and hope to get my full three year usual life out of it (I have a bit of a reputation for beating the **** out of business laptops). Thank you, HP, you have restored my faith in the ability to build quality computers.

great laptop yet get hot at times. work perfectly. down side - battery runs out after 2 hours of work while only Chrome is running

It's neat little laptop. Noiseless, fast. It does not have a LAN port, so, yeah, it has to be wifi. The battery life is excellent.

I purchased this laptop after several disappointments with other brands and I have been very satisfied with this laptops dependability and speed. I would definitely recommend it to others and would purchase again.

I've had the Spectre for a few weeks now. It's great. I'm still learning how to use all the special features but appreciate how pretty, light weight and portable it is. I know I will enjoy it for years to come.

This is an amazing laptop, loved the boot speed (which has continued to be just as fast after each use). The color scheme is the reason I bought this laptop, but it's versatility is why I love it. Only disappointment had nothing to do with the laptop itself but with the difficulty of finding an active stylus that is compatible since hp discontinued the poorly designed one they created for the spectre. Overall, great experience buying it through Best Buy and amazing laptop.

I like this computer. I bought it for my husband since he's at home now and not much to do so he can do his email.

Very versatile. I get many compliments on its looks. It's easy to use. It is a little stiff to open the laptop, and the power button is not easy to find by touch alone. Otherwise no issues.

If you're looking for a great laptop; this HP is the best. Lightweight; great for doing all the WORK I do. Battery life is good. Love the fact I can use as a laptop or tablet. Buy one!!

Love this laptop. Very sharp looking. definitely worth the extra money to upgrade this special version. 3 USB ports and extra disk space is well worth it so i dont have to carry a hub. I use this for school and it boots up almost immediately, very light and small so it fits nicely in my backpack. Comes with neoprene sleeve which does its job but you might want to purchase a more robust cover to protect it if you transport your computer a lot. oh yes...the bronze/gold color makes it stand out. i get lots of compliments on this computer and i enjoy working on it. Keyboard is quiet, fast and well lit if you are working in low light.

For the configuration, the laptop is fast and serves the purpose as laptop as well as tablet. Light weight and easy to carry with all the ports as opposed to the newest version

Bought for the wife for her home office and she is very pleased! Loves the way and it looks and performs even better. Personally I have a MacBook and may switch in the future!
