I bought this laptop a couple months ago. I paid over $1300 includes Geek squad warranty. The reason I chose to buy HP over Apple is that because of the warranty. Apple doesn't cover accidents. Anyways, it was the worst decision ever. The sound board broke in less than two months. I had to go to best buy at lest three times because the there was no sound at all in my laptop. They fixed it a couple time by doing some software, but it broke again in less than 48 hours. In the end, they decided to send it to HP to fix it. Geek squad told me I have to wait at less 2-3 weeks to get it back. TWO WEEKS? I am a student and I do not have any other laptop to use. I got it back after two weeks, I told that the sound board was broken and I should not have any problem with it. After one month it broke again! I called and they had to do some software again. Guess what, it broke again! NO SOUND right now! What should I do Take it back for another 2-3 weeks? STAY A WAY FROM HP

This computer has enough power to run all of the programs needed for college. Easy to set up and light for mobility.

I love this laptop. It's perfect for my schooling. The only thing I can't stand is when Windows 10 forced the anniversary update on my laptop it ruined the audio output and i couldn't find a way to fix it. Neither could the geek squad guy so they swapped it out for a new one and then the same thing happened again. I need the sound for assessing patients so this wasn't good. I found a way to hide that update and so far no other problems.

Does everything I want. It has a touch screen it's easy to access folders and great for taking notes.

I needed a small portable computer that would let me work on my design work on the go and this definitely did the job!

This is a great notebook for students, home users, and business travelers alike. The build quality is great. For those used to or longing for an Apple-like hardware experience with a Windows flavor, this is certainly one of your best options. The Spectre is light and thin without sacrificing ports or hardware power. It will be more than enough for your everyday computing, and then some, especially with a fast SSD and an i5 or i7 (I opted for an i7 and 256 gb SSD).

I wasn't sure which laptop to purchase when I came in. When I went to find help I had the pleasure of finding Alexander Quist. He was extremely helpful with his suggestions on which laptops were better for whichever reason. Once I found one I liked he continued his great service by informing me they had the same model for a bit cheaper out of box. Overall my experience was quick and very informative. I left a pleased costumer with everything I needed.

I had purchased a MacBook Pro to complement my iPad and iPhone. However, two software programs that I have been using for almost 20 years would not work on the Apple. I moved to the HP-Spectre so that I could continue with the software I prefer. This is my 3rd HP laptop. I am very satisfied with the Spectre. This return was the best choice I've made in a while.

Working great and runs really fast compared to the traditional drive in my older computer.
