I have been very pleased with the speed and weight of this laptop.

This was a great little machine until I tried to run a virtual machine on it and then it got very hot. The Spectre has a dual-core i7 U processor as opposed to the actual quad core i7 HQ. I had to return it and buy a 15 inch Pavilion to meet my needs. Short of that though this would be an excellent machine if I just needed a good traveling companion for gaming, surfing, and small bits of programming.

I love this laptop period. It has aluminum casing looks similar to Apple but faster and more powerful.

This item was purchased for my mother. It will be light and versatile for her to use

It's only been a couple of weeks, but I like the slim profile, light weight and port availability. I wish I would have had the Geek folks help me load the program software from my Sony VIAO, as I did a backup from the Sony to a portable hard-drive, then from that hard-drive to this Spectre. Apparently that messed things up and now I have mega duplications that have basically exhausted my system storage. Working on correcting that.

Easy to carry it around, very light. Sometimes it takes a few mint longer to start , but haven't experienced any other issues

I looked at several models. This was by far the best for us. It is lightweight and user friendly.

Replaced an old laptop. This one has speedy start-up and shut-down as well as fast when using. Profile is slender and easy to carry. Comes with its own storage sleeve. Keyboard is easy to use (standard size with clicking keys). Best Buy's resident Geek Squad expertly handled data transfer from old laptop as well as install of security software.

After having 2 consecutive poor experiences with a dell and then a lenovo laptops I decided to up the budget a little and try to find a trouble free setup experience. The hp spectre has been a solid performer, I haven't had a chance to really test the battery, but it performs well. My only complaints are the usual bloat ware and an occasional limbo between power save / powering off and maybe on .

Great form factor, light, fast computer. The screen resolution is awesome. Love this computer!

I love the design. Unique and light weight, exactly what I was looking for. No problems so far.

Does everything I want it to very well. Fast and intuitive.

Good computer for general needs, but then it's expensive. The keys are fairly shallow, the LED backlights are hard to see in real light because the keys are silver colored. The performance is mixed, but fair. 6500u is okay, but a 6700HQ would have been better. I need to run at least one virtual machine on this daily, so more performance would have been better, Otherwise, it's okay.

It fit right into our need. Good features, very user friendly lap top. The price is right too.
