I needed a full computer for travel, and was tired of the bulk with the traditional laptop. I wanted to increase the startup speed and the ability to use it as a sales tool. The SSD works fantastic, and the tent style ability makes for great presentations with small groups. I'm very happy with this. Only con - the keyboard is hard to adjust to. It doesn't feel like a regular laptop or desktop keyboard.

Fast, quiet, and pretty cool. It gets a little warm when directly on lap.

I am happy with the layout of the keyboard and touch screen. My hands do not get tired.

This laptop does everything and more for my daughter being in school.

I am very pleased with the performance and size of this laptop. I use it for graphic work and it keeps up well in performance, battery life and screen clarity. I love the compact size, light weight and feel of the materials. I also have a MacBook Pro and I find I use this just as much or more. Great keyboard feel and overall aesthetics. We have now bought two of these for our small business.

This convertible-style laptop was on the Top Ten list of multiple, reputable tech review sites. I've had it for a about a month, and I'm not sure it should be on those lists. Beautiful in style; great battery power; gorgeous HD; and I personally think the enlarged touch pad is advantageous. However, lot of problems. When you are in tablet mode -- and yes, I checked all the settings -- if you touch a search engine box, for example, on a website, no keyboard pops up. Touch screen keyboard will pop up, then vanish when trying to type in pin on the login screen. "Cortana" is next to useless. Bluetooth is finicky. Using the desktop can be cumbersome. Windows Store is awful. Don't get me wrong, the operating power of the laptop is superb, but using simple programs can be a headache. Laptop doesn't understand time zones -- and, yes, again, I checked the settings. I have it in EST, but, for no discernible reason, the laptop keeps pushing the time back an hour. Just, make sure you do your research before purchasing.

I like this laptop; it's quite light weight. While fairly small, the screen is large-enough, and the keyboard seems full size & has a good feel. Particularly like how the touchpad works. Boots up quickly, runs smoothly. Little or no junk ware pre-installed. Only regret is that I wish I had ordered the unit with the larger hard drive (512 MB), but have 3 USB 3.0 slots for an external drive.

Very impressed with this Spectre. Fast, light, snappy performance. It handles anything I can throw at it with ease. I mostly use it on a WIFI hotspot from my phone and it is still blazing fast! Nice key touch, great clarity in the display, and the SSD drive boots in less than 4 seconds. I own 3 HP laptops and think they offer the best products in this category. Highly recommended.
