    I purchased this machine to carry me through attaining my CS degree. It hasn't disappointed me yet. Even after owning this machine for two years - the boot up time and functionality are still as if it were straight out of the box. I was really happy to see the metal housing this came with as I tend to be unintentionally tough on things - it's held it's own though. The only complaint I have (reason for 4 stars) is that the dpad is starting to be picky. I figured this would be the first thing to go considering the size of pad. Still very usable, just not as responsive as it was the first year. Overall - definitely recommend this to anyone in need of a durable machine. It's held up well for 2yrs now - and I anticipate it carrying me through my last 2 years of school.
