Powerful machine with great display and performance.

It is hard to put into words how great this 2 in 1 is without saying wow. I tried a few laptops before landing here and somehow HP has just made a big difference in how a pc should work. I know it is the same old windows 10 but HP has put care into making their hardware work with this OS.

Very fast and the battery life last very long 9+ hours

Nick was really helpful in providing excellent customer service. I bought a HP Spectre computer because I wanted a computer that is similiar to the HP Elite that I had at work. Very high quality computer for home use. The display of the graphics is crisp and clear. I purchased the Microsoft Office and the security subscription as recommended.

This is an overall fine laptop, but annoyingly the camera/video has never worked. It's a black screen. I've tried everything under the sun to fix it and still haven't found a solution. So, if you plan to spend time on zoom or making videos, I'd look elsewhere.

Amazing, Set out to purchase a Thread Ripper, I word with huge files. Took 6 months, then I found Spectre. The Specs, all 1%%, except upgrade to 32 GB RAM, and a better camera, was too much to ask. IT has everything and its fast.. You know, when shopping for LAPTOPS, Dedicates/Discrete Graphics Card,SSD RAM AND SOTRAGE, Cores 16, would have been ALL.

The laptop is gorgeous, the chassis lovely, the gem-cut bezels the very definition of elegance, and nightfall black is a striking color. The keyboard is excellent, the speakers are superb, and the track pad is flawless. The under-the-hood performance leaves little to be desired. But still I returned the unit . . . . . . because of the display. The OLED panel is breathtakingly beautiful . . . as long as you're looking at colorful images and have the brightness turned up. What I experienced (and what made me return the machine) was an incredibly uneven handling of dark grays at low brightness, which only got horribly worse when turning on the night light. With the night light on, approximately 70% of the display rendered the Windows 10 dark theme file explorer window a putrid greenish-gray color while a hill-shaped portion near the center of the screen was properly black. The problem existed in Discord, too, and so many other programs that I was unable to tolerate it and made the return. In researching OLED panels, I found that this greening of grays is a somewhat common trait. It also hurts that this display is only 60hz rather than the 120+ which LG has stated is a minimum requirement for proper OLED function. So, in conclusion, not enough care was given to the display by HP, and it spoiled the machine for me. It's a shame, really, since the build is so attractive in every other regard. Regardless, OLED seems too immature a technology to trust, so I'll be sticking with IPS LED panels for the time being, and looking more closely at Samsung's QLED technology, which is seeming rather promising.

fast easy light weight better than a full size laptop

Seems to be a great laptop. Starts up quickly and lightweight.

Nice laptop but much more heavier than similar models. Like the slimness and use for travel, so bummed about weight. Screen is great, but battery life is not good. A few hours of airport wait time and it needs to be connected .

Not a very good laptop in this price range. Spend extra couple of hundreds and go for MAC or get it when it is on sale for under $1000. I returned this laptop since I got some display issues.

Fantastic machine! Pretty impressive and well thought-out in a compact and elegant package. The OLED display is incredible, top-notch on a laptop. Fast from start and waking from sleep. I kind of wish I waited for similar specs on a 15” but my old computer is starting to glitch (it’s a 5yo spectre... it held up well until now, so no regrets)
