I had an older model that lasted only two years. Brought it in for repairs multiple times for blue screen issues that could never be resolved and eventually was given a store credit so I could buy a new one. I bought the new model only 3 months ago. My product still *appears* to be in excellent condition, but it has already started having the same blue screen issues that the last one had at the most inconvenient times. Issues that I think are at play - the product heats up dramatically and sometimes gets hot enough that it almost hurts to touch. I think this overheating issue causes damage. Further, I bought the best buy protection plan for a couple hundred extra dollars. That was a mistake because they tried to charge me $39.99 to have it looked at. I ended up just sending it to the manufacturer for free since it is still under warranty. Do not buy this laptop. When the laptop still worked, the performance was excellent, however the blue screens start to happen so frequently that it becomes unreliable at best. At worst, you will either lose important work or lose connection to important video calls at the worst possible moment. I would be willing to say that maybe I just had bad luck, but my first one didn't even last 2 years before it was completely useless and the second one didn't last even 3 months before it started seeing the same problems. Avoid this product completely.

I've had this laptop for a little less than 2 years and it is no longer useable after dropping and damaging the charger port. The laptop no longer charges, holds $0 value, and the repair cost fr one port is 70% of the value of the laptop itself. It is not durable, not a great laptop for those that want to use it for work and travel for work.

Bought this computer for my daughter for a graduation gift. She absolutely loves it. It is superfast and the monitor has a great resolution. She also loves using the Stylus that came with it.

The parts that work are fast! Unfortunately, the webcam and built in microphone do not work! AT ALL! Never have, but we didn’t realize that until after the return window was closed. It’s still under warranty but now I have to find a time when glasswork will allow me to be without the laptop for some unknown amount of time to get it fixed. Not sure I’ll ever buy another HP computer!

I've had this for about a month. So far, so good! Nice keyboard and display. The only con is that the speakers aren't very loud. Not enough of an issue to deter me from buying and keeping it though. Happy with purchase!

Great laptop with nice functionality and looks. However, Camera is not good and required a webcam for getting a good picture quality.

Great laptop. I'm really enjoying it. This version of Windows 10 isn't the most intuitive to use, but it's not terrible. Best Buy's staff were very helpful, and made the whole buying pierced easy.

Great build. Screen is a little dimmer than I’d like but not horrible. The battery is OK but I would always keep the power cord nearby. All in all a very good laptop.

This is a good pc, was very easy to start and it took over and did everything for me. Was like using old pc but with better screen and speed. Had a little trouble with the colors but getting close to what I want.

Ordered Lenovo, Dell, LG laptops and retuned them all. The HP footprint, performance and resolution were the deciding factor for me. I have decided that laptops are truly a personal preference and experience regardless of the reviews.

It's great so far! There is a lot of unnecessary apps pre-loaded, but I think that is true with most laptops. The screen is beautiful, but it sucks the batteries pretty quickly.

FIRST 2 I BROUGHT BACK WHEN IT WAS FIRST RELEASED DUE TO SD CARD SLOT STOPPED WORKING AFTER A COUPLE DAYS AND BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH AND SCREEN FLICKERING!! DECIDED TO REPURCHASE AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS AND HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUES!

Haven't used it that long. The jury's out right now. I didn't get the geeks out until October 21 to download my data and software. Will amend my review when I have used it more.

The HP Spectre completely delivered on expectations. Love the screen resolution and the Core i7 processor delivers a faster response time when I launch programs. I'm incredibly happy with the purchase and appreciate the follow up by Best Buy.

Super light, sick design. Love the 3:2 screen, great for coding, browsing, and streaming. Not too much bloatware and easy to remove. If your looking for a well rounded 14" machine, I definitely recommend, especially if you can catch it on sale.

Love how chic this laptop looked straight out of the box. It was a gift for my fiancé, and he has no complaints thus far. I must note he is very picky when it comes to electronics. Going to purchase me one soon.

The screen is vibrant and the gem-cut edges get compliments often. So far I have not had any battery issues. The cera works great, as does the fingerprint scanner. The am glad I got the 14" screen over the 13" and 15."

I have been use this laptop for almost 2 years now it is great laptop. However the charger type is bad for someone like me who use it everyday.

So far its working pretty well, had a couple of crashes so far which were really unexpected especially before the first month. Other than that, really like the computer.

Good fast laptop , practical good aspect ratio. Would recommend buying it . Thanks
