Best Ultrabook. Period.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first unit seemed to have a problem with the initial windows setup... it started off with a blue screen when I turned on my brand new unit for the first time and then finally got to the set up screen, however the unit constantly froze. I made about 6 attempts to set it up and then gave up. Best Buy was great in exchanging it for a new one and this one worked perfectly the first time. I really love this laptop and it does everything for a great cost ($1399). I had a few weird issues after some updates but after a few reboots, everything worked perfectly. I would say that if you want a fast, very capable ultrabook that has thunderbolt 4, usb A, an OLED 2-1 system that comes with a usb c pen, this is the best unit to get. I was deciding between this one and the Dell XPS 2-1, but HP won me over with the OLED and 3:2 screen. I would highly recommend this notebook to anyone wanting an overall great looking and great performing system. The only caution I would give is if you are considering getting protection for your notebook, you may want to get the Best Buy one over the HP Care Pack. I purchased the HP one about 3 weeks ago since they were having a sale; however I still do not show my device covered for the 3 years that I paid for. I may need to reach out to HP again to find out what's going on. It makes me nervous that HP will give me hard time down the road if something goes wrong with my system. Best buy has always been reliable with their service plans.

Amazing, until the screen goes black
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing Laptop, but as soon as the warranty was up and I couldn't afford to purchase the extended warranty the screen just completely stopped working, but the computer works. I was able to connect it to TV w/ and HDMI cord, but the whole point of a laptop is to be able to move around my house or places with it.

First HP Spectre...
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, very pleased! I've been using Dell XPS for years (very happy with them) but after trying a Dell XPS 7390 2-in-1, was very unhappy with the keyboard and also the fact that the SSD was soldered down, so it could not be upgraded. I got this as an open-box unit (saved a bunch) yet it had everything it was supposed to have (pen, sleeve, power adapter). The 3:2 screen is a new thing for me coming from the 16:10 screens on the Dells. I love that you can see more vertically and the resolution and clarity of the screen is fantastic. Great build quality, speedy system (wake-up is very quick and the Windows Hello face recognition works very well). The keyboard layout is better than expected for my typing style (I love that you have dedicated keys for pg up and pg dn). Key travel is just right. My only nitpick on this (I guess it's an HP thing) is that if the laptop is asleep and I plug it into my dock, it wants to wake up every time (I'm usually just plugging in to charge it). My Dells had a BIOS setting to keep it from doing that...I have not found a way to do this on the Spectre. Overall, a great purchase. FYI, I know that BB offers the Geek Squad protection, but caught HP having a sale on their extended warranty (covers damage and theft, as well) for less than half the price as the BB plans, so check into that to make sure you are getting the best deal!

Highly Recommend
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased this 2-in-1 laptop for my doctorate program, and I am loving it so far! The screen quality is amazing, the battery lasts a long time, the touchscreen is fabulous, and it is very fast. I love the 2-in-1 feature because it allows me to change to tablet mode to take notes or use it to stream shows. I highly recommend this laptop!

Great laptop for high school/college
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This computer was a gift for my daughter as online learning made it impossible for her to use her current computer. She is a senior in high school and will be attending college in the fall. So far this computer has been wonderful. It is quick, efficient and she loves it. It's been a great laptop so far.

Spectre X360 mmm really butters my biscuits
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Besides the bloatware and slightly dated trackpad. The Spectre x360 is an excellent platform and it’s keyboard is better than the dell xps13 and the Apple MacBook Air and pro 13. Speakers are sufficient processing speed is excellent. Very ergonomic and very easy to use pc laptop loaded with helpful features from HP. I run simulations often on this build by hp holds up just fine. A tad pricey but this is certainly a premium laptop.

Spectra 360
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace an Envy 360 and it has been a great experience. The screen is smaller, but the resolution is way better. The only issue I would like to see changed is the limited ports available. If you have drives, keyboards, monitors and other devices you need a port extender. The battery has a long life even with heavy use and the very thin case is easy to handle when traveling.
