This is better than the alternatives because it directly connects to the cell phone by Bluetooth. Also, a bigger print than the older model.

Simple and easy to load photo paper. Prints come out with good, clear detail. Actual prints are about wallet size. Added bonus is the sticky back of photo paper.

This is a fun little portable printer. I love the technology behind Zink printing but it does have its limitations. Zink paper (or zero ink paper) when undeveloped have special colorless crystals embedded in the paper. The printer uses variations of heat while printing which changes the crystals on the paper into different colors, which in turn produces an image. The quality of the prints are not that super great so don't expect to have inkjet quality prints as this printer is not meant to print sharp and vivid pictures. With some photos it has a hard time with shading so sometimes the shaded parts of a picture come abruptly dark or washed-out for the highlights. It also has a hard time with making nice gradient transitions, so pictures may come out looking like low quality GIFs if the picture has a lot of highlight and shadows such as a portrait of a person in the sun with a background with a mixture of highlights and shadows. This is a fun printer to have to do small scrap booking or just to share prints with friends on the go. The app has a lot of features like adding text or clipart and HP is constantly updating the app to keep it fun. The cost of the Zink paper is reasonable and cheaper than those instant film cameras, although you do sacrifice with the print quality. I'm not sure if it is the printer or the Zink paper that makes or breaks the printing quality. Maybe you just need to balance the photo’s color to make it print nicely but that would be a waste of paper if you’re doing trial and error. Or maybe this printer is made to print simple pictures like a close up portrait with less complicated lighting and elements to print. Zink printing is kind of new so hopefully future versions will be better.

This is a great little printer that makes printing small photos fun. They are clear and the printer is handy to take with you anywhere.

My family and I love this wireless printer. We took it with us on our summer carribean cruise this summer and loved it. In the evenings the kids would use it to print out pictures they took during the day and tape them to the mirror in our cabin. The printer paper that the Sprocket uses has a sticky back to it if you want to stick your photos to items (wall, books, locker, etc.). This is a great little product. This would probably be great for someone who likes to craft and scrapbook as well.

It develops pictures very well and it is easy to use. Downside is that the films are costly

We brought the HP Sprocket Plus Printer with us to a festival. Everyone had day journals to stick in selfies and events of the day. We printed the photos, peeled off the backing and stuck them in the journal. It was great fun! Only draw back, the unit heated up after a few consecutive printings, so there is a need to let it cool down if you are printing a lot. But all in all, we loved it!

This was a gift to myself and I love it! This printer is easy to set up, the app is easy to use and best of all no ink! The prints aren't perfect but I didn't expect them to be. The app has some cool features including being able to view a video from your printed photo. I liked it so much I bought one for my bestie too.

Better than I expected... I bought this printer as a novelty item (I'm a gadget guy!) But was I surprised at the print quality. Took the unit to a party...I took a group picture...and everyone took home a small picture of the group! The print size from HP - Sprocket plus printer is like a business card, it prints quickly via WI-FI, and fits in a shirt pocket. A lot of fun to own!
