computer nice, windows 10 disappointing

The computer is a tad slower than I expected but within the acceptable level. Theme wrapped computer pretty cool.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased my first HP laptop over a decade ago. a dv9000. right up until now it has served me very well in everything I have ever needed it to do. unfortunately Microsoft office 2007 quit working and I do not have the ability to reinstall it. not to mention windows vista is a bit outdated, the monitor hinge cracked, and they no longer make batteries for it. fast forward to purchasing the new laptop. I am enrolled in online classes at the local college. the new p.c. has shut down the internet service twice while taking tests... tests I cannot retake. it has also cost me an assignment by not attaching the document it was supposed to attach. neither my old hp nor my wifes Lenovo have this problem. it is unique to my new hp. also the mouse pad sucks. half the time it will not recognize a movement and the clicks both left and right take a pretty fair amount of pushing to get them to work. there is also not a scroll bar on the side like there was on my old hp. as far as I am concerned after the cost of the computer, extended warranty, custom star wars carry case, and taxes I have $1,500 piece of garbage to play solitaire on. thanks hp. never buying another one.

I wanted to reach out to you and help! I understand that your TouchPad is not working properly. I would suggest trying Safe Mode with Networking and or a clean boot to see if you have the issues with the internet, or the touchpad. It may be that your Notebook just needs to be updated. Have you tried doing Windows Updates? Have you tried to uninstall the current touchpad and network adapter drivers and then restarting your Notebook twice to get a new copy of the drivers automatically?
