GREAT SOUND, CAN'T HEAR YOURSELF ON THE MIC

Microphone has the worst design I've ever seen

However, the mic is detachable and not only falls out very easily, but the input is an absolute failure of design. Slightly rotating the input into the jack is enough to cut out your microphone, and eventually completely disable it. Adjusting the mic position alone is enough to cause enough rotation to disable the mic. I spent two rage filled hours scrolling through support forums, device managers, and driver reinstalls before I discovered the mic didn't work because it has to be positioned PERFECTLY. Hopefully this saves somebody else having this issue the pain.

Replacement headset

We had it under warranty thank goodness, he had it for about a year and a half before the mic started crackling. He loves his new headset and is thrilled that it is RED!
