Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Cloud II Wired Gaming Headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the detachable microphone. However, some users mention the headset's relatively short cable and lack of inline volume controls as drawbacks. A few also noted that the fit might be snug for some users, and that the bass could be improved.

    Seriously...get these!

I recently decided that I needed to change headsets. My Razer Manowar headphones simply were not comfortable. I had looked at a ton of options and tried out everything from Turtlebeach to Astro headsets. Best Buy started carrying these HyperX headsets and I was curious about them. I had not really heard about them before. I read quite a few reviews online and people were raving about them...literally rating them higher than Astro A50s and TurtleBeach Elite pro headsets! These are less than half of the price of some of these big names headphones so I was quite a bit skeptical. I really wanted a headset that would be comfortable for hours at a time as I do play a little bit of WoW. Looking at the headband piece on these, I decided to try them out (this is the part of the headset that rests on top of your head) as the Manowar headband piece was very uncomfortable. I have been using these Cloud II headphones for a few weeks now and I think that they may be the best headphones that I have ever used! They are the most comfortable headphones that I have ever worn...seriously! The ear muffs are extremely comfortable and the passive noise cancellation is some of the best available! The sound quality is top notch, making Metallica sound as good as I have heard on some of the best speaker systems! And what a bargain! Less than half of the price of the competition! Needless to say, I highly recommend these headphones and am very, very happy that I decided to give them a shot!

There is cheap, and then there is not worth the time it took to unbox. These were still worse .

    Best Price/Performance PC Headset Available

I bought this headset a few months ago because I had read so many good things about it and the reviews are correct, this is one heck of a headset. Pros: -Outstanding sound quality - good deep base, plenty of treble; almost as good as my Astro A40 headset which has the mixamp and is hooked up to a Sound Blaster Z sound card -Easy to set up - no driver needed, just hook it up via USB and you are ready to go; USB sound card is included -Excellent surround sound for a headset -High end build quality, feels better built than my Astro A40 headsets, which cost $150 more -Long, good quality braided cable -Its a wired headset - I have tried and owned plenty of wireless headsets and I now use mostly wired headsets. Wireless is not worth the hassle IMO Cons: -The mic is removable, but you cannot fold it up -Consoles only can do stereo sound, no surround -You cannot practically use it with a sound card, nor does it have an optical connector; USB is really your only option if you want full functionality In summary, you cannot beat this headset for the money. If your budget is around $100, this is the best option available for PC. Period.

    People with Glasses Rejoice

This is the second time purchasing this headset. First time it last for over five years, one of the ear pieces eventually fell off. I got a Corsair, but wasn’t as happy. So now I’m purchasing this bad boy a second time. The comfort for long hours is great, I’ve got glasses too, so that says something. The sound quality delivers, as does the noise canceling features. I can hear the entire in-game environment on my PS5 And none of the audio outside of the game. Highly recommend.

    Excellent First Impressions

This review is based off of first impressions only however i believe that these will hold true through time. I was using some old Razer Kraken headphones for a long time however after extended periods of time they would hurt my ears something terrible and recently would even give me sores on my ears. With these my ear makes no contact with the sidewalls of the headphones and feels like it it could be very comfortable for extended periods of time. I'm by no means a professional gamer however i do like to go into competitive matches and the sound quality and directional awareness feels more than adequate for my uses. Overall I feel like these are a major step up from what i have used in the past. The feeling of them in my opinion is similar to the Bose QuietComfort 35 which for me has always been a favorite in music headphones.

I have been through a few Turtle Beach and a few Skull candy with workarounds for better sound trying to find comfort and great sound. This headset is perfect for me. The min I put it on, before I even plugged it in I knew I was in heaven. Such great fit, and soft ear pads. Almost all ambient noise is blocked. The surround sound is amazing on battlefront. Feels real close to 7.1. I'm guessing there are other headsets that offer more bass but this is as good as any I have tried in that department. Not outstanding, but sufficient and the surround more than makes up for any lack of bass. While I can't speak to the durability yet since I have only had this a week, that looks promising too. Lastly, if you are a younger person, or a person with a smaller hat size, this is the one for you. It shrinks down smaller than any of my Turtle Beach ones ever did and made it a perfect fit.

Ordered Cloud II Pro and received the the Cloud II, Not the pro. Contacted Best buy and the send a replacement, the replacement was also CLOUD PRO II NOT the pro I checked the 2 boxes, and both boxes mistakenly have the the same part Number as the PRO. Best buy support personnel we confused but could not understand nor solve the issue, Not even provide some credit for accepting a lower product than the one ordered.

quality and durable headset for a killer price

This is seriously the best headset I’ve every used and probably will. The sound on this is really good and the cushions surrounding the ear is soft and good too. Plus there no sound leakage from outside the headset at all unless you try and blast music or sound. Also the durability on this thing is Mind blowing; I’ve many times yanked out the cord and dropped the headset (on accident obviously) and not once has this thing even showed signs of wear and is doing amazing after 2 years of usage. Microphone is pretty good, and it’s removable so that’s definitely a pro. Overall amazing headset and don’t even think about not getting this if it’s in your budget.

    Great headphones for the price

These headphones came highly recommended to purchase. I was skeptical at first being that I have never purchased headphones before, but gave it a go. I was very pleased with them considering there are plenty other headphones that I've been told aren't the greatest for a much more expensive price, so at this price compared to others, it was a steal. I love that I can have the TV on mute (I think you can probably do this for other headphones as well) and you'd still be able to hear all the surround sound actions crystal clear without having to worry about waking people up at night and gaming during those late night sessions!

Design reminds me of my old Turtle Beach Ear Force X3 headset from many years ago, which I loved. The headset is very comfy, good fit, and the mic feels durable. Sound is quite good for a gaming headset, and the mic sounds great as well. I love the inline control, and the 7.1 sounds pretty good for what it is, definitely helps in games. Packing was good, and setup/use was instant. Great buy overall and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good headset, especially for this price.

My boyfriend bought me these to replace my old headset which broke (different brand). He and his friend both have HyperX as well and they both really like them. His have lasted for 2 years so far. The sound quality is good and they fit well. I needed to stretch them out but that's true for all new headsets, they come tight. The removeable mic is a nice touch.

This headset is made out of some of the best quality materials of any headset I have owned. Comfort, quality audio and clear sounding mic. Solid structure with a tough braided wire. I play MMO, RPG, FPS, on the PS4. I use it for music on pc. I have a large head fits comfortably during long game sessions. Now I'm waiting to pick up my new carrying case for it. Try it, you can always exchange it for a different one, but I doubt you will. Preferred over TRITTON, Afterglow, Turtlebeach. Only downside is on consoles it's only stereo.
