Customers are saying
Customers often highlight the superb sound quality and comfortable design of the Cloud II Wired Gaming Headset. Many appreciate its compatibility with multiple gaming platforms and the detachable microphone. However, some users mention the headset's relatively short cable and lack of inline volume controls as drawbacks. A few also noted that the fit might be snug for some users, and that the bass could be improved.

Microphone Not good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The headset quality is great. However the microphone on it SUCKS. The slightest motion of the headset would disconnect the microphone.

People with Glasses Rejoice
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second time purchasing this headset. First time it last for over five years, one of the ear pieces eventually fell off. I got a Corsair, but wasn’t as happy. So now I’m purchasing this bad boy a second time. The comfort for long hours is great, I’ve got glasses too, so that says something. The sound quality delivers, as does the noise canceling features. I can hear the entire in-game environment on my PS5 And none of the audio outside of the game. Highly recommend.

Best Price/Performance PC Headset Available
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset a few months ago because I had read so many good things about it and the reviews are correct, this is one heck of a headset. Pros: -Outstanding sound quality - good deep base, plenty of treble; almost as good as my Astro A40 headset which has the mixamp and is hooked up to a Sound Blaster Z sound card -Easy to set up - no driver needed, just hook it up via USB and you are ready to go; USB sound card is included -Excellent surround sound for a headset -High end build quality, feels better built than my Astro A40 headsets, which cost $150 more -Long, good quality braided cable -Its a wired headset - I have tried and owned plenty of wireless headsets and I now use mostly wired headsets. Wireless is not worth the hassle IMO Cons: -The mic is removable, but you cannot fold it up -Consoles only can do stereo sound, no surround -You cannot practically use it with a sound card, nor does it have an optical connector; USB is really your only option if you want full functionality In summary, you cannot beat this headset for the money. If your budget is around $100, this is the best option available for PC. Period.

Not conpatable with Xbox 1
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I love this head set. The sound is great. The set is very comfortable. I took away one star because I wanted to switch between X box and PC. You still need the adapter to connect to the X Box. That's my only gripe though. I game for hours on end and they are very comfortable. Maybe not as much base as some seem to want but every thing sounds good.

Excellent First Impressions
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is based off of first impressions only however i believe that these will hold true through time. I was using some old Razer Kraken headphones for a long time however after extended periods of time they would hurt my ears something terrible and recently would even give me sores on my ears. With these my ear makes no contact with the sidewalls of the headphones and feels like it it could be very comfortable for extended periods of time. I'm by no means a professional gamer however i do like to go into competitive matches and the sound quality and directional awareness feels more than adequate for my uses. Overall I feel like these are a major step up from what i have used in the past. The feeling of them in my opinion is similar to the Bose QuietComfort 35 which for me has always been a favorite in music headphones.

HyperX - Cloud II Pro Wired Gaming Headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset is a great headset, it provides an excellent audio quality especially for gaming. It gives enough noise cancelling for me to not get distracted while playing or for other purposes. The sound card and speakers are great. The headset is really comfortable and durable as well. When I use it, it doesn’t hurt my ear at all and it fits perfectly for most people because it is adjustable. I really like how the mic is detachable. Also, I like how there is a baggy provided because I can store the other parts when I’m not using it. I can use it mostly anywhere there is a usb cord or a headphone jack. It is also easy to carry around since it’s not heavy and not too bulky. According to my friends who I talk to while using the headset, the microphone quality is crystal clear. The one thing I did encounter is that there weren't too many color choices to pick from . Sometimes the wire gets in the way, however that is only because it is a wired headset rather than a bluetooth headset. When it comes to pricing, I think that it was decently priced, not too much, not too cheap. Although there is a problem I noticed, which was the microphone’s structure. I noticed that as I bend the mic, it causes these wrinkles. One thing that stood out to me, is that there is free technical support with a two year warranty which is always helpful if there were to have a problem with the product. Overall I think that this product is really good and definitely worth the price.

Finally! A headset I look forward to wearing.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been through a few Turtle Beach and a few Skull candy with workarounds for better sound trying to find comfort and great sound. This headset is perfect for me. The min I put it on, before I even plugged it in I knew I was in heaven. Such great fit, and soft ear pads. Almost all ambient noise is blocked. The surround sound is amazing on battlefront. Feels real close to 7.1. I'm guessing there are other headsets that offer more bass but this is as good as any I have tried in that department. Not outstanding, but sufficient and the surround more than makes up for any lack of bass. While I can't speak to the durability yet since I have only had this a week, that looks promising too. Lastly, if you are a younger person, or a person with a smaller hat size, this is the one for you. It shrinks down smaller than any of my Turtle Beach ones ever did and made it a perfect fit.

Best Headset I've Ever Owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My idea of a perfect headset is one that is lightweight, comfortable, and provides an excellent balance of sound frequencies: not too much treble, not too much bass, etc. This is actually my 2nd headset; my first headset was a Sades A60, which I purchased because they were cheap but claimed to have 7.1 surround sound. Well they didn't; furthermore, they were WAY too big for my head, they weren't lightweight, they weren't flexible, they made my ears feel warm after 30 minutes, and the inside padding wasn't comfortable at all. I started looking around for a headset that would qualify as my idea of a perfect headset, but still under $100 (as I am a college student, I don't have much money in general). That's when I stumbled upon the HyperX Cloud 2. I read numerous reviews, most stating that they were very lightweight (hence the name "Cloud"), very comfortable, and provided a couple of handy extras (which I'll get to in a minute). So I decided to take a risk and trust that the reviews were accurate. To make it easy for you guys, I shall list various pros and cons below. PROS 1. Lightweight. And I don't just mean "not heavy." This headset is so light that I don't even notice it on my head after a few minutes. It does not slow my head movement down whatsoever. 2. Comfortable. The Cloud 2's come with two different types of ear muffs: memory foam leather (which I use) and Velour fabric, which, while they are also comfortable, may itch after a couple of hours. The inside pad (which the ear rubs against) is also very comfortable and also feels like memory foam. My ears do not get warm whatsoever, even if I wear the headset for hours at a time. 3. Sound quality: Some people said in their reviews that in order to get the full 7.1 Surround Sound experience, you need to install some 3rd party software. I didn't have to. I just plugged my headset directly into the motherboard, pushed the "7.1" button, and I could instantly tell the difference in sound. In general, while it is a virtual sound, it definitely helps when playing games such as Call of Duty. The combination of the excellent balance of sound, the virtual surround sound, and the noise isolation allows for excellent sound whoring when necessary. That being said, I would advise to turn off the surround sound when listening to music; it just sounds weird. 4. Compatibility: I mainly use this headset for PC, but apparently it works with Mac, PS4, and Xbox One (an adapter is necessary for the Xbox). In addition, because the volume/microphone/7.1 control module box is independent from the single 3.5mm connector, I am able to use this headset for listening to music on my iPod or phone. CONS 1. Microphone: While the microphone is detachable, and does a fantastic job of cancelling out echos and extra noises that are not your own voice, not everything about this headset can be perfect. The audio quality of the microphone is mediocre at best. It's enough for other to recognize what you're saying, but that's really about it. Even my cheap Sades headset had a better quality microphone than this one. I have a little bit of a lisp, and this microphone seems to enhance the lisp; overall the audio recorded from this microphone isn't crisp at all. Overall though, I can't remove one star rating just because of something that I don't care that much about. The combination of its light weight, how comfortable it is, and the sound quality is why I rate the HyperX Cloud 2 a solid 5/5 stars. I can't imagine a better headset for the price. In the 3 months that I've owned this headset, I have had absolutely no problems with it. I would definitely recommend the HyperX Cloud 2 to anyone who is serious about gaming but doesn't want to spend more than $100.

Great headphones for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones came highly recommended to purchase. I was skeptical at first being that I have never purchased headphones before, but gave it a go. I was very pleased with them considering there are plenty other headphones that I've been told aren't the greatest for a much more expensive price, so at this price compared to others, it was a steal. I love that I can have the TV on mute (I think you can probably do this for other headphones as well) and you'd still be able to hear all the surround sound actions crystal clear without having to worry about waking people up at night and gaming during those late night sessions!

Good headset
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Design reminds me of my old Turtle Beach Ear Force X3 headset from many years ago, which I loved. The headset is very comfy, good fit, and the mic feels durable. Sound is quite good for a gaming headset, and the mic sounds great as well. I love the inline control, and the 7.1 sounds pretty good for what it is, definitely helps in games. Packing was good, and setup/use was instant. Great buy overall and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good headset, especially for this price.

Great Headset for the Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My boyfriend bought me these to replace my old headset which broke (different brand). He and his friend both have HyperX as well and they both really like them. His have lasted for 2 years so far. The sound quality is good and they fit well. I needed to stretch them out but that's true for all new headsets, they come tight. The removeable mic is a nice touch.

Best Quality Period!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is made out of some of the best quality materials of any headset I have owned. Comfort, quality audio and clear sounding mic. Solid structure with a tough braided wire. I play MMO, RPG, FPS, on the PS4. I use it for music on pc. I have a large head fits comfortably during long game sessions. Now I'm waiting to pick up my new carrying case for it. Try it, you can always exchange it for a different one, but I doubt you will. Preferred over TRITTON, Afterglow, Turtlebeach. Only downside is on consoles it's only stereo.

Very comfortable headphones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried these headphones after originally trying the Hyper X Stingers and they did not fit my ears, but these fit them so nicely, a very comfortable fit. Sound quality is as it should be, very high! Haven't tried surround sound. The microphone does not match the quality of the headphones, but they sound as good as a headset should. I had to download an external program to turn up my microphone because windows does not allow it. Overall, a good purchase and I'd reccommend these are the ones if you already have a microphone and you just need headphones.
