I bought this headset after returning another set that we couldn't get hooked up to our PC without having splitter cable. The sound is great and the microphone works wonderful. Great for those days or nights of gaming with friends on the PC.

Love the headset very comfortable and was shipped quickly

Was looking for a headset to use on my PC, PS4, and Xbox. Bought these on the recommendation of a friend and am blown away by how good these sound! Better than the Sony Wireless Gold headset and no need to recharge!

I picked this headset up because I was in the market for a new set after my Astro A20s died. I compared this to a set of Steelseries Arctis 5 and Turtle Beach Atlas One. Of the three, this one sounded the worst. There is a 7.1 surround sound button on the in-line controller that seems to make everything sound hollow, like the speakers weren't right next to my ear. I figured I just wasn't used to it, but after a few games of Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch they still sounded weird. I turned the 7.1 off and the headset sounded muffled, like I had turned the volume down by half. I had to crank up the volume to hear anything well and ended up getting a static. They feel great on your head, but the sounds are just off for me.

I was deciding between the cloud II and the Cloud Revolver and I'm really glad I chose these. Lovely 7.1 simulation sounds make music enjoyable to listen to and excellent game sounds. Awesome quality overall

Best and most comfortable headset i've ever tried. Have had corsair virtuoso and astro a40 for the longest. These work with ps4 for anyone wondering!

This is my first headset purchase and I am very satisfied. Great sounding headset that works on my PS4 or my PC. The 7.1 surround sound only works with the PC but they still sound great on my PS4.

However, my experience with this headset has been far from satisfactory, leaving me disappointed and frustrated. One of the major issues I encountered with the HyperX Cloud II is its build quality. Despite its seemingly durable appearance, the headset feels flimsy and cheaply made. The plastic construction doesn't inspire confidence in its longevity, and I've noticed creaking sounds when adjusting the size or moving the ear cups. This lack of sturdiness is particularly disappointing considering the price point of this headset. The comfort level of the Cloud II is also lacking. The headband padding is insufficient and tends to exert uncomfortable pressure on the top of the head, causing discomfort during extended gaming sessions. The ear cups, although claimed to be memory foam, are not plush enough and can cause ear fatigue after prolonged use. Additionally, the clamping force of the headset is too tight, making it uncomfortable for individuals with larger heads. Sound quality is another area where the Cloud II falls short. While the audio is decent, it lacks the depth and clarity one would expect from a gaming headset in this price range. The bass response is particularly underwhelming, lacking punch and impact. The virtual 7.1 surround sound feature, touted as a selling point, fails to deliver an immersive experience and often feels artificial and gimmicky. One of the most significant disappointments with this headset is the microphone quality. The detachable microphone is subpar, producing muffled and distorted audio. It often picks up background noise and has poor noise cancellation, making it frustrating for both the user and those on the receiving end of the communication. This issue severely hampers in-game communication and general voice chat quality. Furthermore, the inline remote control feels cheap and poorly designed. The buttons are stiff and unresponsive, making it difficult to adjust volume or mute the microphone quickly. This lack of user-friendly controls can be frustrating during intense gaming moments when quick adjustments are necessary. While the HyperX - Cloud II Wired Gaming Headset may seem appealing due to its brand reputation and marketing, it ultimately fails to deliver on its promises. The lackluster build quality, uncomfortable fit, mediocre sound quality, and subpar microphone make this headset a poor choice for serious gamers or anyone seeking a high-quality audio experience. Considering the price point, there are far better options available on the market that offer superior comfort, sound quality, and durability.

I have had this pair since early 2020, and they have stuck with me through the thickest and thin; Worn and torn and they still work like a charm. By default, audio has additional bass, which is convenient for those who like that type. A major highlight is its portability; You can either use them as a standard 3.5mm headset for your phone, or you can connect them to a USB controller that allows for on-demand Surround Sound. My only real complaint is that the volume control is locked to increase/decrease 4 decibels at a time, which might be found as a tad inconsistent for some. But otherwise, a strong recommend overall.

The sound quality of the headset it quite good. The mic produces amazing sound quality. The headset it built nicely and is biggest enough for people with larger heads. Now the major flaw! The headset 3.5mm cable is designed to plug into the Xbox One and PS4 controllers. This cable does NOT include an in-cable volume or mic control. You have to make those adjustments through the inefficient console controls. Think about playing COD and wanting to quickly mute your mic due to dogs barking! You can't! This a huge design flaw. The PC has much more controls due to the USB dongle. There are much better headsets for this price. Look elsewhere.

Very happy with this headset. Versatile between my PC, PS4, and tablet. Does not fold-up so if you're looking for a traveler-style headset, this may not be for you. BUT if you've looking for gaming at home, listening to music, or watching movies on your mobile devices...these may be what you're looking for. Definitely meets my expectations!
