Uncomfortable after an hour
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously had an Arctis 7 which also was uncomfortable due to the short length between the headband down to the ear cups with the fabric headband fully extended (made for smaller heads or younger heads). I had heard the HyperX was engineered so that people with more pointed heads, like mine, could wear them comfortably. They marginally did fit better, but the pressure on the side of the head is too intense, and the ear cups are too small. Again, a headset made for small heads (youths) and not for older adults. Sound quality is OK--I liked the surround effect; microphone is not very good and cannot be retracted like the excellent design of the Arctis series. I will likely return and sadly keep looking for a set of cans that will fit an older adult who does not have a round head.
