Good but one flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The headphones easily have the best build quality I have seen in any Xbox certified headphones at the price range that they are in, I own the Astro a40's and these are is many aspects just as good. The HyperX CloudX's also have very good sound quality. The one very odd disadvantage to these headphones is the smell... This might seem unusual, but the earpads had a very odd odor out of the box. I can smell it when I am playing games just from being on my head, I doubt this is anything concerning and will hopefully go away in time. I am debating on purchasing some sort of scent remover product.

Finally a GREAT Xbox Headset

Both don't compare to the quality HyperX brings to the table. No issues whatsoever. Perfect for what I use it most for at the moment: Call of Duty Black Ops 4. I'll be only purchasing HyperX products in the future.

Mic stopped working after 3.5 months
