I was really excited to find this deal on Best Buy's website - the specs were everything I wanted and the price was within my budget. This was ideal for my gaming needs, so I bought it through Best Buy and a day later the computer was on my doorstep. Unfortunately, the honeymoon was short-lived. The computer was plagued with problems. Software wise I would get issues with the taskbar disappearing after closing out of a Steam or Origin game, or the computer disconnecting from the monitor and requiring a restart. The computer also came with a remote to change the Smart Light effects on the tower, but the remote didn't work and even with updated drivers the lights did not change. Worst of all, however, was that every time the computer restarted I was taken to a warning screen about overheating. Upon investigation it seems as though ibuypower didn't properly apply the thermal paste on the CPU and heatsink, which was causing the CPU to overheat within minutes. I brought it back to Best Buy after only a couple days of use and Best Buy is offering to exchange it, but I'm pretty disappointed. It seems from the reviews on this site that my incident is fairly isolated, so I'm hoping when the new one comes in (it takes over a week even though Best Buy has the units in stock. What?) I won't be having those issues. Very, very uninspiring first experience however.

Got the computer to replace our laptop and it has held up to our expectations

I bought this PC for my little brother for Christmas and it works like a dime. The great combination of the intel core i-7 processor and the GTX 1060 graphics card alone is worth the money. IbuyPower easily makes the best gaming computers out there and there is no doubt about that. 100% worth the money.

This is my first time buying a gaming pc, and i have to say I was very pleased. Everything worked very smoothly, I would definitely recommend this to a friend. The only downside that I could tell was the wifi adapter was pretty bad, my wifi can do 30mb a sec easy, but I'm only getting about 500kb a second, which is pretty bad. Overall great product for a great price.

After the initial setup the Ibuypower desktop has preformed very well. Right out of the box it runs smoothly and can handle streaming or recording high end game play. Being upgradable and modable should help improve those functions as well. For a gaming PC this was a good purchase and I look forward to upgrading and personalizing it for my own uses as time goes on.

I bought it for my son. He loves it! He use it for gaming and homework.

This PC is an absolute beast and can play any game at high resolution.

Upon startup, this computer was fast to get everything setup. The only thing I was troubled was that the light that came with the system wouldn't turn on or off unless I opened a side of the glass. This is little to me; however, I somewhat wish this came with a cd drive but hey Ill live with a external drive that i will purchase later. I plan to upgrade this computer in the long run, so this brings some ease as a startup. I cant imagine what games will look once I have it fully completed after transferring from my old computer.

This is a very nice product. Love the lightings and the speed. It's still new, so time will tell.
