I have installed 9 such devices. The set up was easy. Love it. We also purchased one of the Outdoor SmartPlug. Setup took a few tries and after a heavy rain is shorted out. So would not recommend the Outdoor SmartPlug. Only other negative was the app. Easy to set up on any device sharing the same Apple ID. But on one of our devices using a different Apple ID never could get the app to work. Called iHome help line with no luck. So used "SmartThings" app as a work around.

Very easy to set up and work great for turning items on and off remotely. I use with my iPhone and it works with Siri to turn on and off also. They also let you set a schedule to turn something on or off at certain times.

I used this to hook my lamp up and use it with Amazon echo. Did not have any problems and set up went just fine. I recommend using with an apple device just because set up is supposed to be even easier with those.

This is a good power plug to control from a smartphone. It works very well, however, the manual override is on the left only (as you look at it), so if you need to take control manually, take this into account.

Was very easy to setup and works with Alexa and my iPhone.

This summer we used two of these, one to turn off the air conditioner after the room cooled for sleeping and one to turn on the fan to keep it cool. We control them through an Amazon Echo.

I wanted a simple WiFi enabled wall socket to be able to be controlled with my iPhone or Amazon echo dot. This product allows for both. So it’s wa good value for what you need it to do.

at first a bit confusing on how to make it work. but once the app was downloaded I was on my way. I use it all the time with my goggle home and am very happy with it.

The plug works great with the Amazon dot. The only problem I had a first was the lights would not go off with the rules in the app but an update fixed the problem.

Very easy to set up and use. Competitive pricing for the Smart Home beginner. I had a couple of connectivity issues but troubleshooting was easy and fixed the issues.

I love the app and how you can turn light on and off when you arent even home. I love too how you can set it to come on and off at certain times.

For simply home automation these are great. I have multiple home automation products, but these are good starter pieces for lamps, etc. Turn on a lamp upstairs when your not home, etc. I would recommend these for lamps and other simple “on/off” applications.

Works great. Hooked it up with my Alexa, and smart hub. For the price a great purchase. For the time I used it, I never had it not work on command.

Bought this to plug in my Christmas tree lights. Easily paired with the Amazon Echo which made turning the lights off and on as easy as saying “Alexit tree on (or off).” Will be picking up additional ones for other purposes around the house.

I had previously upgraded some of our switches with Lutron Caseta and it was so nice to have access to control the lights from our phones. So I wanted something to control our lamps. The iHome plugs were very easy to set up with the Home app on iPhone. I didn't really even use the iHome app, but downloaded it later for a firmware update for the plugs. If you have an Apple TV 4th Gen or iPad, you can set up home automation and have the lights turn on at sunset or turn off when you leave a room with another internet connected device. Overall, I am very pleased with them.

Very good playground, directions were lacking, but managed to get it set up. I use it to run a water distiller, so I can turn it on and off remotely. I do not need to be on the homes WiFi to do that. Meets my needs and it was inexpensive. I currently am using an iPhone 11 Pro

This plug comes in very handy We have attached it in our living room Allows us to turn on and off the light without moving from bed.

This brightens up the room. Ease of use and operation. With the Alexia app it brings a room to life. Get one and plug it in.

works as I expected. however I lost internet one day and I had to go in and reset everything for it to start working again.

Well as my summary stated this product is almost a 5 star. Works as it says- plays great with Home kit. Great at scheduling. Only issue I have is if the power goes out for an extended amout of time they don't resync with my wifi router- at least they don't until I unplug them and plug them back in. Regardless I would buy more and have.
