I LOVE thiw smarplug! I'm especially happy about the fact that you can use this it's Apple HomeKit, which I uw more than other automation services. At first I was afraid they wouldn't work with my air conditioner, but both of th plugs I bought (so far) work beautifully with no problems, and the scheduling works well too. I'm also very happy I can stack two on top of each other, to completely automate my wall outlet. I'm definitely going to be buying more of these for the rest of my home in the future.

This is a great smart plug. We have apple home kit and this is compatible with home kit. We have five smart plugs for our lights and we really in joy being able to control our lights with our phone or using Siri.

I purchased 2 of these to turn the Christmas trees on and off. Took a couple of tries to get them to connect to the wifi, but after that they work well.

Very helpful. Connected it to a light that so I can turn it on and off via my phone or ask my google Home.

Added to Smartthings and Alexa flawlessly. Purchased 2 smartplugs and received email from iHome informing me that they will be sending replacement for one that won't update. Awesome customer service.

I had originally purchased several of the Belkin WeMo switches. The WeMo mini’s have been so problematic, that I bought 2 of these to evaluate, I now have 6 of them and have retired the WeMo mini’s. These are easy to install, work great with home kit, and are just trouble free. Home automation is supposed to make your life simpler, not constantly frustrated trying to make your switches work. If you want to automate some of your appliances, get these.

I just love these plugs. I started out with 2 plugs just to see how I would like them. I then ordered 2 more. They are so easy to use and now I can turn things on and off at the touch of a button.

Easy set up and fun to play with inside the house using blue tooth access. If you're looking to control lights or appliances away from home be prepared to invest more money in a hub such as nest and others. Found it just too complicated to attempt to set up a hub that would allow internet access to plugged in appliances. Hub has to be on all the time. I gave up.

My Christmas tree is now plugged into this and it is paired to my Google Home Mini. I no longer have to climb under the tree to plug it in and I have it set up to turn on at sunset every night!

Works ok but has became unassigned a few times from my echo. That's is the only issue I have had.

I purchased this to plug my single serve coffee pot in. It does not cover both outlets which is great. I can use my iPhone or Alexa to turn it off or on. Many plugs do not work with both.

This is my first plug to begin setting up a smart room. Everything work together flawlessly

I use it for controlling my night light and this is definilty coming handy to turn of light when I don’t want to get up and turn off

We have it plugged in with our lamps and they respond so well with Alexa especially our kids love it. We will be buying more.

I have a bunch of these. They are easy to set up and program for timers that you can operate manually remotely if you want or just let them do their thing when programmed.

The directions completely skip over how to set up this plug using Apple's Home app, which is installed by default in iOS 10. Using this setup method doesn't require the iHome Control app, but it is so simple to do so that I don't feel justified in removing a star from my rating. Setup is equivalent to how a new Apple Airport (both the Express and Extreme) are setup. Once the smart plug is plugged into the wall and the green Wi-Fi light is blinking, go to the device Settings app and Wi-Fi (were you would go to select a network to connect to). Below all of the available Wi-Fi networks the plug will be listed as a new device to be set up. Tap on it and follow the prompts to connect it to the network your iOS device is currently connected to (this will involve scanning or entering by hand a code that is both on the bottom of the plug and on a sticker inside the manual). You will then be able to name the device and name a room that it is located in. After this the outlet will be available as a toggle button inside the Home app. It will also be registered with Siri so that you can simply say "Turn on <name of device>" and it will turn on. The iHome control app setup is similar, but once set up it gives you access to additional information such as power state history (a list of time stamps and whether the plug was on or off at this time). I have not tried it with any other services it integrates with, such as Amazon Alexa, Nest, or Wink. If your are looking for integration with IFTTT, though, that is the one major service this device does not currently work with.

Plug it into wall. Plug lamp into unit. Download app and follow simple directions.

I mostly use this to turn off and on a lamp. Works well for this using my Alexa

I love these smart plugs. They were easy to install and connect to WiFi. It was easy to download the app and create rules. The plugs work just like they should.

Disclaimer - I returned this item because it did not solve my problem (but to no fault of the product). Overall, I thought the product was nice and decently well thought out. I chose this plug over others because it allowed use of the second outlet (vs. other models which are more bulky). However, the long width kind of made it seem out of place visually in a bad way as I was using this on an exposed outlet (not behind a dresser, etc.). The set up wasn't too difficult, I use Apple homekit and it seemed to work well for the 10-15 minutes I used it). Unfortunately, I had to return this product because it did not solve my problem (I wanted a space heater to turn on automatically before I woke up). This is to no fault of this plug, but it's important to remember that these smart plugs will only work with items that are naturally in an "on" state.
