Purchased the Insignia 25' Cat 6 ethernet cable to replace the current one. It did the trick and worked like a charm. Don't think I'll need another but would purchase the Insignia again.

A concern was that we did not show all of the bulky cables behind the new tv. With the slim design of the cord we were able to use a cable organizer to get more cables neatly inside. We could not have done this with a standard hdmi cable. It also was less expensive.

Definitely helps improve her connectivity in her dorm when wifi is weak -- or everyone is trying to connect remotely to their classes. Length is perfect since her ethernet connection is not near her desk

This cable solved the problem and does not kink up often with extended use.
