Unfortunately, that meant stringing it along baseboards and over the occasional doorway, but it works MUCH better than the wifi. Cool.

Rather than pay hundreds to get the hook up, we bought this. I was worried about internet speed due to the length, but it's been great!

It most definitely does not. However it wasn't very expensive and I needed a cable for a new pc I built. So here's the part of the review that matters. It works. I get all my of glorious 30 Mbps.

And XP was surprisingly just plug and play... both OS were good to go. 100 Mbps only lan cards. But with 10/100/1000 new LAN dongle works great too getting closer to my 200 Mbps paid cable speed.

This increased my speed about 10 times what it was before.

I have seen vast improvements when using this cord vs wifi. I have also used it with my smart tv and it works well too.
