I will say that I've heard it makes more of a difference the longer the cable is, but for a standard 6' HDMI cable, just choose whatever is the cheapest. I haven't compared them side by side, but I would love to know if it actually matters to buy an HD cable for an HD TV or if it's the same as the standard cable.
