There are probably better cables that can handle exactly what you need it to handle, but as a casual viewer...this cable is great.

You plug one end in and then you plug the other end in & magically pictures of things appear on your television. One caution both the tv & the other thingy from the cable company have to be set to "on."

This one fits the bill perfectly and the picture on the TV is just as good as the TV downstairs using a pricier cable! Go figure!

The cable was necessary to enable the soundbar to automatically go on when the TV was turned on, opposed to turning each on separately. Works wonderful.

The reason why I like it being white is that my wall is white too so when I'll use it to connect my wall-hung TV to my laptop it won't be obvious.

I saw no loss in clarity or performance for the extra length.
