Even when not connected to PC it works great as a charging cable for long play sessions without having to stop. Highly recommend to anyone with an Oculus Quest.

I connected this to my usb 3.0 with an usb 3.0 to usb type c adapter(USB 3.0 has transmission speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s,) After connected I ran a few test and it only showed 2.9-3.0 Gbit/s and I felt that my gaming experienced suffered because I was not getting the speeds as advertised. Maybe I got a dud, Possibly since this was on the discounted shelve with the returns.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to make it faster to charge my headset while playing so it never dies which it does very well however the cord kinked in a really weird way and the side that plugs into the headset now has wires exposed from not being strong enough, if you are going to use this make sure u take off as much tension as possible mine became exposed after a week of using

Great data speeds, no problems. If you are looking for a data link cable, this isn't the cheapest, but it works great.
