I bought this headphone extension cable product to replace a product I purchased probably 30 years ago. When I first used them I thought there was something wrong with the connection to my A/V receiver. The bass signal sounded flat like a blown speaker and the overall sound quality was poor, perhaps it was just a bad cable (?) I did check my connection and it was fine maybe it was just a bad piece. I did use my old extension cables and they were much better, wow. I have since purchased a different headphone extension product for the same price and they are superior than the Insignia.
