Q: what is the unextended legnth?
A: It's about 4 feet unextended. After you reach about 10 feet, there is very noticeable tension due to the coils. If you really need more than a 9 foot extension cord, I highly recommend you look elsewhere.
A: No this will not work with a headset with a mic . Reason being is this cable is TRS tip ring sleeve You will need a cable that has TRRS . Which will allow your mic to work , hope this helps

Q: Will this work from a iPhone 6plus to a microphone?
A: Yes, these will work but you have to use the adapter to goto 1/8th aux plug from its quarter/phone plug...I would advise you use another cable tho, these cables are thick and the recoil will snatch your phone off and hang it if not careful
Q: Will these work with Bose Soundtrue Around-Ear headphones?
A: We use these w/our Bose Q25 (I think that's the model) & they work great!
A: Absolutely! But you’ll have to use a different 3.5 mm to 1/4” adapter. The one that came with the cable was garbage. It was like putting the signal through a high-pass filter. So I ended up using a Beats one that I had laying around.
Q: Will it work with rugged radio
A: I am not familiar with the terms "rugged radio". However, the extension cable works for me both in house and outdoors. I work a lot around noisey, gasoline powered electrical generators. The extension cable in conjunction with my headphones and c.d. player - work well to mask the noise and delivers good music. As long as I don't over extend the length of the cable.
