Not exactly 20'

I sit about 14 feet from my receiver and my headphones only have a 4 ft. cord. I wanted to have enough slack in the cord so that the cord would lay on the floor and not pull on my head. Even though this cord says it is 20' it really is only about 10. The 20 ' measurement is taken before the cord is coiled up. In order to get this cord to relax I had to stretch and stretch and stretch and it still wants to curl back up. I will probably have to buy another one or a different cord altogether. Other than that, the cord works as it should.

It works as I hoped and I expect I'll find a use for the extension cable, eventually.
