Truly a good price and worked as well as higher priced items.

This extension cable comes in handy when you want to listen through headphones and are several feet away from your device. Like the fact that it has 1/4" jacks for those of us who have headphones (these are not always easy to find) with a 1/4" plug. It also comes with adapters for smaller headsets. It doesn't quite extend to 20 feet though.

I purchased this extension cable so that I could sit at the sofa and listen to my receiver. Unfortunately the coil cable pulls on your head so it was very uncomfortable to use. I ended up returning the item.

If the cord were straiter and not a coiled you would be able to extend it farther, and this is preventing it from reaching it's 20' maximum without it being ripped from the audio jack.

The items work, but they require being jerry-rigged in order to work. Perhaps the connector is damaged or manufactured incorrectly, but it’s certainly not the input.

They work okay. The problem is when you get near the 20' distance. There is to much pull on the headphones. You need to hold the wire or they will be pulled off your head.

I purchased this to work as an extension from my receiver to when I'm sitting on the couch playing a game with headphones on. My original thought was the coiled design would be beneficial and stronger. However, it's just like a slinky. It kept receding backwards each time I sat down. Almost felt like I had to hold on to the cord just so it wouldn't move. I'm sure there are times when this design of cord work as intended, but just not for sitting on the couch with headphones.

This is more heavy-duty and won't work well in a vehicle using 3.5mm headphone jack. This cable (to it's benefit) is actually very sturdy and strong and would work perfect for in-home solutions.

I purchased this item a couple weeks ago, unfortunately it's too late to return. I trust best buy so I didn't bother to check this product out right away. First I needed a long auxiliary to reach my tv. This is advertised as what I needed but it's coiled and you can stretch but it's too tight and unplugs if pulled on so take that 20' and take 16' away because you can't stretch it. Also every single pair of headphones I've tried in it the sound...... Well sometimes you can hear a little.

The connectors are a bit cheap as I get some static while using them if there is movement of the cable, otherwise still a good product.

I have bought this specific product 3 separate times, and everytime it is an absolute let down. 1 out of the 3 works, and even then it is spotty. I’m a podcaster and my guests complain constantly about their ability to hear themselves, but it’s too much of a pain to return them. I wouldn’t purchase this again if it was the last item left to do the job. It was recommended by Best Buy service members, and it upsets me that I can’t trust them to help me pick an option that will actually last.

The spiral cord creates a strong tension and is not suitable for moving away as the force of the stretched spiral pulls it back.
