    Have latest and best high speed modem but angles, location and other considerations determine actual download speeds. Actual speed was unsatisfactory. It was impractical to locate modem closer to work station. Ran 50 ft. Cat-6 cable and connected directly to laptop. Problem solved.

    I use this to hardwire a Netgear router upstairs to a gigabit modem downstairs. When the router was hooked up using a 4' cord the Speedtest results were basically the same as when the router was connected to the modem via this 25' cord. I expected a drop off due to the length but was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend.
