Good price for a longer cord very durable and such

Perfect length to work with the various Powerline boxes Ive also purchased through Best Buy. I purchased a few of the 8' and one 14' of the cat 6s. Good material and I like the overhook on the release pin to protect it.

Cat-6 is the way to go to get great speeds with the recent increase in internet speeds. Use it primarily for my xbox console to reduce lag when playing online games.

I have been using the Cat5e cables for years and when I went to the Xfinity 1000 Mbps plan I upgraded to the Cat6 Cable throughout the house. As such, I want the patch cables to be a Cat6 as well. Both Cat5e and Cat6 can handle speeds of up to 1000 Mbps, or a Gigabit per second. The main difference between Cat5e and Cat6 cable lies within the bandwidth, the cable can support for data transfer. Cat6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz, compared to 100 Mhz for Cat5e. This means that a Cat6 cable can process more data at the same time. Think of it as the difference between a 2-lane and a 4-lane highway. On both you can drive the same speed, but a 4-lane highway can handle much more traffic at the same time. My SmartTv got stupid and the wi-fi stopped working. I was told I needed to get the tv repaired. Instead of spending may a couple $100 on that, I went and purchased the Ethernet cable and within seconds my tv was working again and all my apps were up and working. They had a selection of lengths. I bought the 50ft cable.

I tested this cable before installing it and it tested out as properly built. Cable was flexible so easily routed. Cable connectors have protective tab over retainer clip.
